« We really enjoyed our cabin that is off the beaten path. Very secluded and peaceful. We visited the Apostle Islands, did some cave kayaking and toured North Shore all the way up to Tettegouche State Park. We couldn't enjoy a campfire due to the takeover by mosquitoes and ticks but they are always nasty in the spring and it has been wetter than normal. »

« It was so Beautiful and Quiet! Our cabin was clean and had all the necessities. We toured the area, saw 9 waterfalls, 2 state parks, 2 beaches, Lake Superior and a Pow Wow! « We stayed here for 2 nights on a motorcycle trip. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, and same with the bathrooms. We’d recommend this to anyone, especially those wanting lakeside fun. There’s a beautiful pontoon for rent, a great dock and the water was clear and calm. We will return when we can stay longer. The property manager was a great communicator. »

« I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place! »

« This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay! »

« We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. « We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests! »

« Kris was super responsive and helpful! The property is tucked away in a very peaceful corner right on lake Superior. We had a full house and it was definitely large enough to accommodate everyone. Highly recommended if you have a large group! »

« We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area.
