"The weather was absolutely perfect, the property was very clean, and the Friday Fish Fry at the Soo Lake Bar and Grill was excellent. Over all, was a short but great little get-away for us. We'll be coming back for sure!"

"We stayed a few nights for and ice fishing trip with my boys and uncle. The cabin was immaculately clean and the most well stocked cabin I’ve ever stayed in. Shawn and Sarah were great hosts and responded quickly with any questions we had. We loved our stay and hope to book again in the near future. You will not be disappointed."

"The house was so clean and cozy and made our stay a fun and enjoyable experience. The water was so low that we couldn’t get our two boats in at the dock so that was inconvenient to have to unload and load up all the time to go fishing. We did find several new lakes to fish on which was a plus. The deer are plentiful in that area. Our grandson enjoyed fishing at the dam also. Thank you Grouse Haus and Cari at Northwoods Realty for all your excellent communication seeing this was our first time...

"One of the best places we have stayed! The cabin is stunningly beautiful. The pictures do not tell the story, this is a place you have to experience. Very private, right on the water, nature everywhere. We had geese and deer in the lawn, hummingbirds flying around, turtles all around the docks. Place came with 3 kayaks and a paddle boat. The fishing was out of this world. After 4 days we lost count in the 70s. We caught crappie, bluegill, perch, and bass. DNR says no bass in lake...but we caught...

"The room was comfortable/tastefully decorated. Their website stated that breakfast was provided. In checking in, I was told that they are no longer providing breakfast. The ice machine is not working but if you ask, a bag of ice will be provided. The cleanliness could be improved. I wiped a spill off from the bathroom floor and the tissue was black. There were also black areas on the edges of the shower curtain as if a mechanic with greasy hands had handled it. I wiped off a spot of dried blood from the wall where the toilet paper was hanging. The property could certainly use some TLC. I'm thankful to have been able to stay there seeing that everything in Ladysmith was booked up."
