"Our stay at Chindonan Beach and Dive resort was excellent!! The staff are all very accomodating and friendly. We were greeted with welcome drinks and big smiles. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We were in the new ones, ocean front deluxe and the views - you cannot get better. This location is remote, and island paradise, ideal for those wanting some peace and relaxation away from the tourist crowds, exactly what we were looking for. It is a 40 mins speedboat ride from coron. The food was delicious, and the staff took exyra care to ensure I had gluten free options. Dinner is served family, buffet style, Everyone eats together it is so lovely. Special shout out to Matt and Frank who took special care with us diving, my kids had a great time! The added bonus were the puppies, Cher and Madeline, so sweet. We will be back! Sarah, Travis, Jack and Davis, from Canada. "

Coming by boat from the seaside (island hopping), you barely see the beachhouse at first, blending into the palm trees that line the shore and the dense greenery of the jungle clad mountain behind. Then it emerges as a tropical oasis on the edge of the Ocam Ocam Cove. Its a perfect retreat for those who seek a peaceful getaway far from the crowds of town, to relax, recharge, and taste the raw nature of palawan (which they call “the last frontier” of the philippines for its untouched nature). To us it was the perfect Palawan getaway to enjoy a quiet and peaceful weekend, laze around the pool, and explore the islandscape of Busuanga by boat (Black Island across the Beachhouse, and the Dugong snorkling tour were our highlights). Ocam Ocam Beach is pretty, raw and quiet, nice for a walk along the cove exploring a mix of local village life and small tourist establishments. The beachhouse is around an hour ride from the airport and easy to reach with the hotels shuttle, the last 15mins are rough road and get a bit bumpy. Dont go if you expect crowds, bars and nightlife, its a remote escape far from the hustle of coron town, but for us, it was the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend."
