"We traveled as two couples. The hotel was lovely, situated across from a beautiful loch. The lobby had plenty of places to sit and enjoy a chat and beverage. The bar was nicely stocked and our evening meal was delicious. The chef had only enough scallops for one person and they saved them for my husband! The beds are comfortable and rooms had beverages for us to relax with during our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Nice, spacious room. Breakfast was awesome and we were even provided a well stocked grab bag when we had an early tour. No elevator which was the only downside as we were on the top floor. Location is great and the staff were exceptional."

"This building was beautiful! The room was very clean and felt luxurious. No lift, so a staircase is required to be used to access the rooms. The restaurant attached was a perfect option for dinner, and the included breakfast was lovely. We took advantage of the living room and sat in front of wood burning fireplace after dinner. Was a perfect way to unwind after a big day of adventure. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stop in the area!"

"We enjoyed our stay VERY much and were so delighted to be greeted and treated so warmly…including a surprise upgrade to a delightful sea view room upon our arrival! The hotel is very easy to find, has ample free parking on site, and the cafe/bar is so cozy…filled with delightful, historic artifacts. The hotel is an older slightly creaky historic building, though it’s been fully updated and the entire hotel was nicely appointed and squeaky clean. Our room was quite small, and we needed to navigate several assorted fire doors and narrow stairs, so my slightly lower rating on a couple of points is intended to just show that, not bash the property or criticize the service we received in any way. Our bed was very comfy and the hotel location surprisingly quiet, so we slept wonderfully. Breakfast service was top notch, perfect start to the day, and our lunch/dinner was excellent: kudos to the cook, for sure. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend Oyster Inn highly."
