Sidari Beach Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We decided to take a different approach this year and booked our flights and accommodation separately. We noticed the Sidari Beach hotel had excellent reviews but were slightly concerned it was only a 3 * hotel. However we could not have picked a better hotel for what we wanted. The hotel is about 12-15 mins walk from the main sidari strip but is out of earshot of all the late night music. We upgraded our room to a Seaview at a reasonable cost and that did not disappoint either. Incredible views right at the beachfront. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was immaculately clean. The pool was lovely and not busy at all. It was a breath of fresh air not to need to put a towel down to reserve.sunbeds. breakfast was basic but more than enough choice. Restaurant next door if u didn't want to walk to the strip. Would definitely go back and highly recommend"

"Very disappointing! The Hotel.commented doesn’t not give a true representation of the view from the balcony. Ok we booked a Hermes room but the view was not the same as in the photos. Looking out to a car park, scrap boats and an old caravan and portaloo. Not our exact vision for our holiday. The main hotel rooms probably was ok. The staff were very lovely and the breakfast was good. The resort not so. Very busy during the day with day visitors and at night not much going on around the hotel without a bit of a walk. There a beach club/resataurant directly Opposite the hotel but expensive and noisy. We booked 4 nights but only stayed 2"

"This was supposed to be an all inclusive experience however, all the restaurants were shut down by 9:30pm so there was no chance to find any food after this time. Many people travelled with their kids including myself so it was extremely difficult to coupe with the restaurant time which I find it difficult to believe because I had stayed in other all inclusive hotels and their had more than 1 restaurant and food was available 24/7. The bars were serving cheap drinks, quality of the food was poor and limited food options, there was only 1 entertainment event every day in the evening for children and WiFi connection was terrible. Overall we had a bad experience and rest assured that we won’t be back."

"This resort is really an “old school” 5 star type of hotel. The rooms are not very large but everything is very efficient and in working condition. The staff is incredibly helpful and ready to “go above and beyond” to make your stay enjoyable. But the main part is the location! It is 10 out of 10 and better than any postcard view one can imagine. If we have a chance we are coming back."

"Hotel is located on a steep hill, not easy up hill drive. Limited parking and you need to be able to go up and down stairs to get around and to the dinning area. Dinning area- If you lucky you have a balcony table with nice view of the sea. Otherwise you have to use inside table. Food - half boarding breakfast/Dinner, same buffet items the entire week that we stayed. Dinner do not include access to water coffee and you need to buy! The rooms and the hotel is a bit dated."

"This is a very beautiful All Inclusive resort with very nice food, very friendly and helpful staff. The general manager lacked a little bit respect and friendliness when I tried to make him aware of the crowdedness in the dining room and no system in place to improve it, but only at the very beginning of the conversation, after that he was nice, listened and dealt appropriately with the matter. Our room was perfectly okay for our 3 nights stay but it is not okay how dirty the floor was. We told the receptionist that the floor needed to be mopped and after that a cleaning lady came and washed the floor and everything was good then but I think the floors should always be spotless clean when new guests arrive without them having to go to receptionists and complain the cleanliness standard. I still give full marks for this resort as I am confident all this will be 100 % improved and all future guests will benefit from us. And who knows - maybe one day we even return ourselves."
