"A lovely clean hotel situated on the beach in a quiet part of Roda. All the staff we encountered were friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The food quality was good with plenty of variety to suit most people. A few reviews have highlighted the remote location but we found this to be a bonus as it was so relaxing. If you do want to go into the centre of Roda there is a free shuttle bus. In terms of entertainment, not something we usually look for, there was an...

"Our apartment was lovely and clean with two good sized balconies overlooking a pleasant garden and adjacent fields. It had really comfortable beds, allowing a good nights sleep despite the heat, which was really appreciated. We had access to the hotel pool which was superb - lovely, big and not overcrowded. I loved the decor and books in the bar area! The owner Antonis and other staff were always available and keen to help with any queries and were so welcoming and friendly (but never imposing...

"We didn't actually stay in the end. Building looked virtually derelict and was way out of the village. No sign to indicate we were at Kogeros apartments. Eventually got through to the owner in Athens by phone, who'd not seen our booking! To be fair, he sent a lovely lady over to open a room for us, who was incredibly apologetic, but the room was musty with poor beds, so we cut out losses and booked an alternative for the night in the village."

Roda Beach Resort & Spa All-inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Good holiday no fuss, had a rental car did what we wanted at our own schedule"

Mareblue Beach - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"We arrived an hour early and were pleased with our room, although the sea view was quite limited. We had requested single beds rather than a double, which meant my mother had to sleep on the sofa. While the shower did not initially work, it was repaired promptly. The food was acceptable, though I would have appreciated more variety as the menu remained the same each day; specifically, the breakfast options were disappointing, with poor-quality sausages and greasy bacon and eggs. Although we booked an all-inclusive package, many drinks required an extra charge, and the cocktails seemed diluted as we felt no effects after thirteen drinks. The pool and entertainment were wonderful, although the magic performance was a bit dull. The à la carte dinner, however, was exceptional and truly delicious. A significant drawback was the number of steps, which would be difficult for those with mobility issues, and the lack of lighting in those areas at night. Furthermore, the location is quite isolated with nothing in the immediate vicinity, so we remained at the hotel for the duration of our four-day stay. Overall, we had a beautiful time and the weather was amazing."

Cote Jardin Seafront Luxury Villa - Direct Beach Access

10/10 Excellent

"A wonderful villa in an amazing location. The garden is spectacular and beautifully maintained and it was wonderful to be able to step through the back gate straight on to the beach. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants within walking distance and buses into neighbouring resorts were easy to navigate.Whilst we were lucky to be able to spend most of our time outside the villa itself felt a bit tired in places and the kitchen wasn't the easiest for self catering for 5 adults.Chris was a wonderful host and the communication was great. A wonderful week and we didn't want to leave!"

Melitsa corfu hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I will admit as we were driving through the countryside, we had our doubts about our choice. But, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The property is clean and well presented. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this property. Oh, I almost forgot one important thing, super value"

Panorama Sidari - All inclusive

8/10 Good

"Staff are friendly and helpful, ask any questions... Swimming pool was amazing. Food was great too. Evening entertainment by the Animation team was fantastic. Rooms are on the basic side and toilet needs updating. Saying that we were out most of the day and didn't bother us as much."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Erikousa Island?

The best area to stay on Erikousa Island is near Porto, the island's main harbour.

This area is the island's central point and where you'll find most of the amenities. It's a small, welcoming port with a sandy beach right next to the ferry dock. Around Porto, there are a handful of tavernas serving fresh seafood, a mini-market for essentials, and a few cafes. The main road leading inland from Porto is lined with olive groves and connects to the island's other small settlements.

For couples looking for a peaceful escape, staying near Porto offers convenience without sacrificing the island's tranquil atmosphere. You'll have easy access to the beach for a morning swim and can enjoy leisurely dinners at the waterfront tavernas. The gentle pace of life here is great for unwinding.

Families will also find Porto to be an excellent base. The shallow, calm waters of the beach are ideal for children, and having the mini-market and tavernas close by makes meal times and daily needs straightforward.

When is the best time to go to Erikousa Island?

The best time to go to Erikousa Island is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, or September.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures great for swimming and exploring, but without the intense heat and larger crowds of the peak summer months. You'll find the island's natural beauty, like the sandy beaches and olive groves, particularly inviting during these times.

For those looking for a relaxing escape, these periods are ideal. You can enjoy the island's tranquil pace, indulge in local cuisine at the tavernas without feeling rushed, and easily find a quiet spot on the beaches. The sea is wonderfully warm for swimming, and the walking trails are comfortable for exploring.

If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, the shoulder seasons provide a more intimate experience. You can enjoy strolls along the coast, peaceful dinners, and the island's natural beauty without the bustle of high summer.
