Lovely hotel with great sea view room. A little tired but shower worked well and bed was comfortable. Good variation and quality in food however everything was cold stored in too low heat so spoiled the meal. Staff really welcoming and helpful.

Wedding Crashers

There was a wedding on process when we arrived. Happy festive vibe. The front desk manager carried our bags for us. Happy man. The beach and water in front of the hotel were amazing. Just a few steps across the street. It is rated as a 2 star hotel. Its older You get more than you pay for. PS we did not crash the wedding. Just enjoyed the atmosphere from a distance.

Drab hotel

This hotel is very tired looking, the breakfasts were cold and not very appealing, the pool was ok, the room were very clean but very small, the bathroom was tiny, would not reccomend this hotel.

Generally everything was good, Breakfast was extensive and varied. Pool was very good with plenty of room. Lacation vert central to whole of Ipsos sea front. Beds uncomfortable and shower was broken.

Fantastic stay with attentive and friendly staff

Stayed here 28/03-31/03. We arrived after midnight due to flight delay and our keys and room number had been left at reception so we were able to go straight to our room without delay. We were given room 29 which was a clean spacious room with a view out to the beach and balcony with table & chairs. Bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated and the room appeared freshly painted. Room was well equipped with hairdryer, fridge and a nice selection of complimentary toiletries. Everytime we left the hotel or returned the gentleman at reception greeted us with a smile and checked everything was ok. The room was cleaned daily which was unexpected but appreciated. We never struggled to find a car parking spot close by. The restaurant attached offered a good selection and well priced food however we never used it.

Building site and no service

No one manned the reception and the hotel was still being renovated. The hotel should not have taken our booking as it really wasn’t open properly. I chose it as it claimed to have a restaurant and bar neither of which was open due to the refurbishment. Although our room was clean and ready, most rooms were not. Tradesmen were wandering around, leaving a mess, cigarette smoke etc in public areas. The floors were filthy with plaster dust/ paint etc. It was noisy due to the work and the roadworks directly outside. Frankly we didn’t want to be on the premises. There was no apology for our discomfort. We should have been given the option to cancel, as they clearly knew the works would not be completed before we arrived.

Ich war insgesamt sehr enttäuscht von meinem Aufenthalt. Als ich früh am Morgen auschecken wollte, war die Rezeption unbesetzt – im ganzen Hotel war keine Ansprechperson zu finden. Ich habe längere Zeit gewartet und sogar versucht, telefonisch Kontakt aufzunehmen – leider ohne Erfolg. Was mich besonders beunruhigt hat: Die Außentür des Hotels stand weit offen, sodass theoretisch jeder unkontrolliert ins Gebäude gelangen konnte. Das halte ich für ein ernstzunehmendes Sicherheitsrisiko und keineswegs akzeptabel – weder für mich noch für andere Gäste. Zudem war ich sehr überrascht, dass es in einem so großen Hotel keinen Aufzug gibt. Beim Tragen meines schweren Koffers bekam ich keine Hilfe vom Personal – das ist nicht gerade serviceorientiert.

Festligt område med många ungdomar

Om du är runt 20-årsåldern och vill festa så är detta området väldigt bra för dig!!!! Hotellet var lugnt och inte högljutt på nätterna. Fin utsikt mot havet. Sängarna väldigt hårda (vanligt i Grekland). Frukost över förväntan väldigt fräscht!! En väldigt simpelt men renligt hotell.

great hotel!

Ipsos Di Mare hotel is a wonderful place to stay! clean and looks new, and the owners are very kind and patient, located in front of the beach !! take rooms with view to the sea.. there is bus stations near the hotel to go to city old town or to the other side of Corfu, it takes around 35 -40 minutes each direction by bus. Ipsos is a nice place to stay and quiet . i would recommend very much cause its a great hotel and good price and clean!! the beds are comfortable and shower is ok as well. and there is restaurants and supermarket near the hotel and nice beach to relax :)

Fabulous location in front of beach. Excellent service. Bedrooms at front (sea view) have been modernised. Plans to compete the rest in 2022.
