"Advertised as a stay in castle, given an apartment outside the castle at the car park! Last night of stay and the next morning No hot water! No cleaning for 7 days, no change of the sheets or towels. Tree cutting at 8am. Apartment smells like damp. Cleaners while cleaning other apartments talking loudly like they were arguing. The outside look it is amazing, beautiful scenery!"

"Wonderful staff here. Simona! Natalia! Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Lovely area. It is remote but remote can be a wonderful thing. Only suggestion is the shower leaks because the shower door is not sealed. So a rethink there. But otherwise fabulous and highly recommended. "

"Beautiful farm/winery. Rooms as shown. Must have car. Two great restaurants you can walk to but they don’t open until 7:30. It’s not a B&B so be sure to take groceries, coffee, water, paper towels or napkins. It’s 6 Km from a grocery store. Wine tasting was wonderful. Owner lives off the property so was a little slow to respond on some things, but it was the end of high season, only a few guests. We stayed 4 nights and easily drove to Pisa and a few small towns nearby. View and pool are amazing!! "

"This was a perfect location for our girls trip in Tuscany. Beautiful country views in a quiet setting. Very convient location to make day trips thru Tuscany but would definitely recommend you rent a car to do this. A parking spot wss provided so did not have to worry about finding and paying for a place to keep the rental car. The house was clean with lots of space and so nice to have so many bathrooms all with good water pressure. The kitchen had plenty of dishware and utensils and made life easy by having a dishwasher. Also, very helpful to have a wash machine and multiple drying racks. We were very happy to have a cafe and gelaterias within walking distance as well as a grocery store. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. One possible concern is if you had to be available for work, the WiFi was spotty especially at night. Overall, would highly recommend staying here!"

"This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet dinner that was available on our first night that included delicious food and wines. We also took advantage of the daily breakfast since the location is somewhat remote. Alternatively, one could easily prepare their own breakfast in the apartment kitchen but we opted for the convenience. Although remote the property is conveniently located in the countryside about midway between Florence and Siena which were the two cities we planned to visit during our stay. There is a pool on the property and we did also enjoy a stroll into the vineyards one evening to watch the sunset. The reason for the lower rating with facilities is primarily around some plumbing inconvenience which was not confined to just our unit but was being appropriately addressed by the property and we did not experience any issues on our last couple of days. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would stay there again if I return to Tuscany."

"Villa is large and broken into several apartments. 3 with 1 bedroom, 1 with 2 bedrooms and 1 with 3 bedrooms. Main floor has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was a good layout for us since we had 15 people stay there. However, pool was not usuable until the last day due to "algae problem" and the main kitchen dishwasher wasnt functioning at all. Stairs to 2 apartments were very dark and difficult to navigate at night. Also 1 bathroom downstairs only provided cold water in the shower. Very rustic but we had a fantastic stay. About 30 min from Florence so you need a car or a driver. "

"We loved staying in this ancient apartment! We ended up spending 5 weeks living here. The master bedroom at the top was our favorite!! The kitchen was great, the downstairs shower had fantastic water pressure, the neighborhood was beautiful, the neighbors were quiet, we felt safe, and we really were impressed by the fabulous communication we had with the hosts before and during our stay. They were simply lovely."
