An open floor plan flows in and out of the house onto a huge outdoor deck, allowing easy family and guest entertainment. Upon entry, you will find the primary living area complete with an antique wood-burning stove and inviting treetop views. Just around the corner is the kitchen featuring newer stainless steel appliances. You will also find a staircase leading up to a cozy loft with a queen-sized bed and a small TV. Please note the loft (3rd bedroom) has open access from the living space; perfect sleep area for teens/ older children. Below the home's main level is the bedroom level, allowing for exclusivity when hosting guests. The bedrooms are separated by a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo. Both bedrooms feature pine ceilings and windows to bring in natural light. The home's exterior has an enormous wraparound balcony directly accessed off of the main level. This spacious outdoor area features views of the neighborhood trees and scenery, promoting relaxation and calm. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING: \-Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts. \-This vacation rental has mini split air conditioning units in each bedroom and living room. \-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge. There were some doors that lead to an odd side of the house. Not sure which was the front door, the stairs were much higher than standard sized steps, I actually fell going down the steps. Also there were closers that were kinda creepy and missing some of the panels. The blinds were also missing, the hot tub gave me hives after using it and I felt a bit exposed. This is a lovely cabin that is perfect for an Idyllwild getaway. While we had a few challenges with the payment system when booking, the issues were ultimately resolved and everything was smooth once we got there. The house is spacious – more than what we needed (it'd be great for a small group or family!) — but was clean and conveniently located. I was assured there was a working hot tub verbally and it is in the listing. However I was made to sign a contract that has language not guaranteeing any of the extra amenities, the hot tub being one of these extras. Upon check in, I was told the hot tub was set for over 90 degrees. When we arrived, it was 78 degrees. We called the next morning, they sent a technician twice and hot tub never got higher than 81 degrees which felt like leukwarm bath water. At check out, I complained and they said they would have someone call me within the week but not to have any expectations because of that contract I had to sign to stay there. No one ever called. I emailed and called with no return response. Basically the contact NEW SPIRIT VACATION HOMES makes you sign let’s them out of being accountable to assure everything is working properly.
