The only drawback was regarding the amenities. Our place did not have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and the a/c was only upstairs. I cooked 2-3x a day on our trip so I was really missing those items! The views and breezes across the river were lovely though the conversations, smoking etc of others are quite close by. My husband and labrador stayed here for several days in a row and it was the perfect home base for all the hiking activities we had planned in the area. Randy was very helpful and knowledgeable about pointing us in the right direction to visit waterfalls, which we thoroughly enjoyed learning about and hiking to. We also drove out to Crater Lake to explore it as well, and the drive between the cabin and Crater Lake was gorgeous! Each night that we returned to the cabin from the day's adventure was such a treat. We really enjoyed being right on the river, exploring the rock formations, and we saw two bald eagles on two separate days fly right over us (one in the morning and one in the evening). We'll definitely be back for another visit because even with several days there, we still have more in the area that we want to explore :-) ##### Laura K.
