Short walk to 3 sandy Ocean Beaches! Short walk to town. Dog friendly cottage located in Harbor Village on the Hyannis Port border. 2 Bedroom, 1.5 Baths cottage. Sleeps 4\. Master bedroom has queen bed. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Full bathroom has tub and shower. Central Heat and Central A/C, TV, Wifi, Washer/Dryer, Outdoor Shower, Weber grill. Parking for 2 cars. Enjoy a tranquil setting from a very private deck with table and chairs. Rear of cottage overlooks a tidal basin. A true birdwatchers paradise. Because this cottage rents Saturday to Saturday during the peak season, June 20 to September 5, dates during the week in peak season may appear to be unavailable on the VRBO calendar, but the dates ARE available , unless the entire week (Saturday to Saturday) is grayed out. This is a quirk of the VRBO calendar display, when you can only check in on a Saturday and check out on a Saturday. Two-night minimum stay between May 1 and June 20 (includes Memorial Day weekend), and between September 5 and October 31 (Includes Labor Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend). Walk on Harbor Village's private footpath along a tidal estuary to Ocean Avenue Beach and Keyes Beach on Nantucket Sound. A third beach, Hyannis Port Beach, is 200 yards from the entrance to Harbor Village. Set up your own beachhead to sun, picnic or watch the sailors on Nantucket Sound. The summer water temperature on the Sound averages 70 degrees. This is a privately owned cottage in Harbor Village, which has onsite management and free linen service. All linens are provided, including sheets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases. The bathroom is stocked with bath towels and washcloths, bar soap, TP and a hair dryer. Extra towels and washcloths are available free at the cottage supply shed next to the office. You will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. There is an iron and ironing board. Laundry detergent for the washer. In the kitchen, the cottage has paper towels, a bottle of dish soap, a dish towel, and a pot scrubber. Dishes, utensils, pots and pans, glasses, wine glasses, lobster pot. The coffee maker is a drip coffee maker and we provide the filters but not the coffee. Please bring a bag of your favorite ground coffee. Free daily trash pick-up from outside your front door each morning. Harbor Village is truly a unique one-of-a kind jewel on Cape Cod. It is a quiet, secluded compound of 21 Cape style cottages on a 17-acre private parcel studded with pine trees, and a private sandy path leading to two ocean beaches. We are located on the south shore of Cape Cod at the edge of Hyannis Port, within walking distance of the Kennedy compound. If you follow of our footpath to the beach, there are also sidewalks on Ocean Ave and Sea Street that go all the way to historic Main Street in Hyannis. Harbor Village is the perfect location for your Cape Cod vacation. There is no other place on the Cape that has the quiet solitude of Harbor Village, while also providing the excitement of all of Cape Cod’s attractions nearby. The Cape Cod Melody Tent, and Historic Main Street in downtown Hyannis with shops, restaurants and pubs, are less than a mile away. Take the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard from Hyannis Harbor, one mile from our Harbor Village entrance. Hyannis is considered to be "The Capital" of Cape Cod. If you stay for a week in any other town on the Cape, you will find yourself driving in Cape traffic to Hyannis nearly every day of your vacation, because Hyannis is where all of the action is, and it has some of the best beaches in Massachusetts. Lovely little cottage community close to the water in a beautiful neighborhood and close to town. Fantastic caretakers. Home was cozy in the best way. Ample lounge space and great patio. So incredibly peaceful. Everything was easy and simple for check in/out and anything you might need Shirley and Bob were happy to help. Great location Very nice property in a quiet village like setting. Pet friendly. Supplies were good. Would recommend owners supply laundry detergent & hand soap. Had to buy both. It was clean and had what we needed. The walk to the beach took 5 minutes, the property was well maintained. Anything we needed, we just had to ask. It's in a quiet little development, a very short nature walk to the beach, and near a lot of good cape activities. The cottage has a rustic feel, but has the comforts of heat and central air. Original posting said it was updated, but not all that much as we found out and not very professional. The deck and outdoor furniture were lovely, beds very comfortable, bathrooms ok, comfortable furniture in the living room. The property needs improved landscaping in the front and a railing on the four steps up to the house.. Walk to the beautiful beach was easy. Various attractions were easy to get to. We would return to Harbor Village another time but in a nicer cottage with a dishwasher. ##### Rosalea&Dick F. It is older and the kitchen area is a little small for cooking (which usually we don't do much of but this year for obvious reasons is different). It was clean, all appliances updated, and had several pros like towel exchange and daily trash pick up. The walk to the beach is about 10 min through a wooded path so not perfect if planning on bringing a cooler or wheeled beach caddy but you can go by the road (a little longer walk), sidewalk the whole way. Beach was quite nice, quiet with life guards and designated area to play ball.
