"The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were the highlight of our stay. Our room had a nice view of the sea, beds were very comfortable, and i had a good sleep. The hosts were very welcoming and gracious. This location was on the Shimanami Trail, right next to the shotengai, and across a ferry landing. Very quiet and charming place."

Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important.
