We stayed in one of the bungalows. It was quiet and relaxing, and the kitchenette and living space were lovely extras that made it feel like home. The location is walkable to several Montrose shops and restaurants, but it feels tucked away in the neighborhood enough that you’d forget you’re in a large city near downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel - it is beautifully decorated, the staff are friendly and helpful, the beds are extremely comfy and the food was delicious. Would definitely visit again if we ever return to Houston!

The hotel is beautiful and the art is great. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very kind and the concierge remembered our name and greeted us kindly. Just a couple small things - the rug in our room was stained quite badly. Not like, a little splotch, but very large dark stains all over it. The wood floors are nice enough they could have just pulled the rug up if they didn’t have another. The other thing is the staff is very thoughtful, but sometimes maybe too much? We had the Do Not Disturb on, and a few different times they knocked anyway. It was always for something kind like asking if we needed anything or on Christmas to deliver a gift pastry from The hotel, but if we have the sign on, that means we don’t want to be disturbed at all (unless it’s an emergency). But overall we liked it and would stay again.

Love this hotel- can get too busy at times

I love this hotel, and will give it another shot. They can be overwhelmed during wedding season. Maybe too many events happening at the same time in the Saturday I arrived- two weddings and an art exhibit/concert. Super lovely, but my room was over an hour and a half late getting ready; and I had to really plead to get in at that time. And things a pricey hotel. Everything else about this hotel is great, and usually spot on- maybe just caught them at a bad time.

Amazing Hotel

What an amazing hotel, with wonderful staff! Never had to lift a finger, the employees went above and beyond! Food and drinks were great! The room was clean and very comfortable! We attended a wedding reception at the restaurant and had an experience! We also took advantage of the rooftop pool. We definitely recommend this gorgeous hotel!!

If I could give the service six stars, I would, by far my favorite hotel in Houston. We stayed in the bungalows this time which has lots of space and very comfortable vets. The restaurant at the hotel is fantastic and Bar No 3 is always fun with great cocktails. The first time we stayed in one of the mansion rooms which was also amazing, have not tried a tower room yet, but I have no doubt the quality and service will equal the mansion in bungalow rooms.

This is not a five star hotel, its a four star. Solid, clean, comfortable. Service was mediocre at best. Dont expect any bells and wistles. They do nothing to celebrate a special occasion.
