"We had a wonderful stay at The Grand, York. The rooms are big, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the shower was powerful and relaxing — exactly what you want after a long day. The food was very good, with great quality and variety, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Every member of staff was happy, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made the stay feel extra special. The spa was absolutely amazing — a real highlight and perfect for unwinding. Overall, a fantastic hotel that combines comfort, great service, and luxury in a brilliant location. Highly recommended."

"The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Staff were excellent. Service was brilliant for breakfast and we had meal in the restaurant on our first night . The young man serving us was very welcoming and advised us re the tapas menu . Room comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired shower was excellent but decor needs refurbishing . After a shower the room was drenched in condensation. The bathroom heater wasn’t working on the first night there . All in all no complaints this was our second visit to this hotel and we will come back "
