"Mellow Yellow did NOT disappoint, from the very 1st message to Melinda the Owner and her communication back and for and answering tons of questions, making sure we would be okay and have all we needed, that what we were brining was good too, she was on Point! So arrival was here, getting to the gates of Mellow Yellow and its cute and homey welcome feel, great yard, our golf carts were waiting as promised from the cart place, to the cleaning lady was also, there to greet us, she was so kind & make sure we were okay, house was adorable and comfy to fit 10 of us with an upstairs, downstairs (they are not connected) you walk up a deck to get to each other) but this worked amazing to put part of the kids etc. downstairs that was our cooking quarters too. All we brought all we needed to cook daily food wise! All accommodations from towels, coffee makers, plates, cups, and more were there. Okay, back to the upstairs the view and the deck make the whole house, we lived on the back deck when we were all there, from Morning coffee, to Yoga, evening cocktails and a couple slept on deck 1 night, out there is spectacular and a walk down the stairs to the Ocean, washer and drying to do laundry, beds all comfy, AC works great, such a convent location to all from the Firefly restaurant, to our dock, to Hope Town (5min cart) , Location perfect. I will stop here or may run out of space lol. See you again Mellow Yellow! Ps. Milo my service dog so enjoyed he, befriended the whole island."

"We stayed here for a week in July. The house is in a perfect location. It has everything you could need from dishes and cooking utensils to towels and linens. There are multiple Mitsubishi mini splits throughout the house, and it stays very cool during the summer. There is a gas grill in the backyard. There is laundry service in town. You can easily walk through the more historic part of town from the house. Cap'n Jack's was awesome for breakfast and dinner (highly recommend the French toast and smoothie). Vernon's and I Got the Munchies are also in town. I would recommend renting a golf cart to explore the more southern part of the cay with On Da Beach Bar, Firefly, and Abaco Inn. We also drove to pick up pizza one night at Island Sweet Delights (which also has ice cream). You can also use the golf cart to go to Tahiti Beach. The dock at Pa Willie's is very solid and was so convenient to dock our 27 ft boat. The proximity of the dock to the house makes it easy to transport stuff to and from the boat to get ready for each day. The Pa Willie's dock is close to the post office dock, which is one of the Hope Town Inn ferry stops. It is very easy to either drive the boat over to Hope Town Inn to hang out, or you can also take the ferry. The pool at Hope Town Inn is great, and the lobster grilled cheese is amazing. Lory is also very attentive and extremely easy to work with. Pa Willie's was perfect for us, and we would definitely stay here again."

"We had a fantastic time at Second Wind! The house was perfect for our group, and the location truly can’t be beat. Centrally situated on the island, it was just a short golf cart ride to town or Tahiti Beach—and within walking distance to On Da Beach. We loved starting our mornings with breakfast and coffee on the porch, and ending the day listening to the sound of the ocean waves. The house was clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained. This was my eighth trip to Elbow Cay, and Second Wind was by far my favorite place to stay."

"Greeted by nurse sharks and sea turtles at our dock.. easiest boat dock to park at in the Abacos.. House is amazing, clean, and functional.. call a ferry and your in town or at hope town inn in less than 2 minutes.. location is really perfect"

"My husband and I recently visited Hopetown and stayed the Beach House. The home is absolutely wonderful, the beach is amazing and the views are breathtaking. We were so impressed with the home and the host Kevin. He is so welcoming and incredibly responsive. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, utensils, etc. and plenty of towels and beach towels as well. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. Kevin also provides a very detailed list of things to do, contacts on the island and details about the home once you book and the information is definitely helpful. We booked a half day boat trip with Captain Francis’ charter and it was so much fun. The local restaurants are great as well. It was our first time visiting Hopetown and won’t be our last! Thank you Kevin for opening your home to us, it is absolutely amazing!"

"We are beyond thankful to have found Ocean Gaze! We have a big family and a boat and finding a beautiful property to stay in on our annual trip to Abacos was not easy. From the moment we stepped foot in front of the house, we knew this house would be special and we were speechless.Every space in this house was perfect. Each bedroom space has its own bathroom with is ideal traveling with adults. The living spaces are beautiful and the kitchen is the heartbeat of the home! So much space for everyone to enjoy meals together and several women in the kitchen.The pictures do nothing justice at Ocean Gaze. From decor to comfort to the outside living and entertaining space at the pool, AND THAT VIEW! We hosted a dinner for our group at out home with Chef Carlton, and his wife to prepare the most beautiful Bahamian dinner. David is lovely and was so gracious with all my questions. Clara, the OG concierge was amazing and very responsive to any concerns during our stay. Cannot wait until next year as we have already booked our next trip!Thank you, David and Clara! "We loved the cottages. Very private with no access by road, but with the provided dinghies all of Hope Town is easily accessed.Karen and Robert are always nearby but never intrusive. Karen met us at the dock with a golf cart to help move all of our baggage and food to the house. Robert brought us a bunch of bananas, grown on the property, sweetest bananas we've ever eaten. Pool is a great break on the way home from the beach. We came over in a 38' Cruiser and were able to park right out back. At night, you can sit outside and hear the waves of the nearby ocean. Experience true Bahamas living! We will be back!"
