Perfect space for us all and found the accommodations exactly as expected. Comfy front porch for sitting and chatting; the hot tub out back was perfect for an afternoon soak after our hike to the Devil's Bathtub where a couple of us did the cold plunge! And our Sunday evening meal was enjoyed al fresco on the patio with a view of the mountains. Jeff was quite accommodating and met all our needs - he even built a fire in the firepit to enjoy the first night. We can't rave enough about the gorgeous historical cabin, the breathtaking mornings surrounded by mountains and land, not to mention the outstanding hospitality provided by Jeff. The cabin has every amenity that you could possibly need during a week long stay with kids. Our kids had a great time hiking, playing in the creek out front, and exploring the grounds. The stay was comfortable and peaceful; we thoroughly enjoyed our mornings and evenings sitting on the front porch or playing family games by the fire place. We highly recommend staying here. Jeff made us feel like old time friends and went the extra mile to give us a history lesson on the home and families that owned it. Jeff and Rebecca have done a fabulous job decorating, renovating and hosting this wonderful home. Grab a blanket, snap on the fire and curl up on the sofa with a good book! The kitchen has just what you need to prepare a meal, you might want to grab a few groceries on the drive in and don’t forget to toss your slippers in your suitcase to keep your feet warm as you sip your morning coffee!
