« Except for what seemed like a lot of traffic for a country gravel road here in wisconsin, it was very peaceful. Night was quiet and comfortable. Had a nice fire outside and cabin was warm inside. Comfortable beds. Slight gas smell when we entered, but it seemed to dissipate once place was opened up. Attic type ladder to upper sleeping area was pretty shaky so I recommend using outside steps. Porta potties clean and fresh. An outside motion light would be nice for those who might need to venture...

« What a place. If you’re looking for a babbling brook, birds singing, crickets chirping, stars shining, hammock swinging, glowing fire kinda place, you will find it here! And did I mention a clean and tastefully decorated cabin? Yup! You get that too. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras this place had to offer. And the hosts were wonderful to communicate with and took care of a need above and beyond what we asked. Took day trips to neighboring towns and then right back to this sweet...

This was fine, but made night time trips to the bathroom more of a challenge for us. The area is beautiful with the Kickapoo River nearby.
