Highly recommended. We only stayed one night and would definitely have enjoyed another night. Outstanding historical building, beautiful garden, cute Scottish cows in the field. Room and washroom was spacious with view over the field. Dinner was excellent. Staff were helpful and clearly enjoy their jobs.

Besides being a property full of historic elegance and charm, the service right from entry to the property at check-in and the service at breakfast the next morning was excellent. This one night stay was definitely a highlight of our tour of Scotland from Canada. Well done !

An absolute gem; what we'd imagined an upscale highland hotel could be. Fabulous room (we stayed in a deluxe) that had a great king bed, an outdoor private patio that was a literal breath of fresh air - with the sounds of birds in the evening, and others in the morning. Bathroom was spacious, with lovely big towels. The pub was warm, the dinner very tasty, and the breakfast (included) was healthy and fresh. Wow this place is spectacular! Stayed 2 nights with my fiancé and we loved it ! We were immediately upgraded to a larger room that was gorgeous. The property itself is stunning and peaceful. Right when you walk it you are greeted with a warm and cozy feeling. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was great with all the things one would need. Fantastic well-maintained property for a relaxing atmosphere. Wide variety of food options to meet any taste. Clean an comfortable rooms and welcoming common or shared use areas. A surprise oasis. Steven was particularly helpful.

We stayed at the Abbotsford Lodge for 2 nights and were extremely impressed by the cleanliness, the staff and the whole environment of the place. It is not just a B and B, but more a cross between that and a hotel. Everything is in good condition. The room is small but very neat, tidy and clean. The breakfast was literally white glove service.
