"Peter was very hospitable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We even managed to get a little lost, and he kindly jumped into his Ute and guided us to the tiny home where we were staying. We were low on petrol and he went out of his way to get us petrol too! We absolutely loved the peace and serenity of the surrounding bushland. It’s such a beautiful, tranquil place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. We also loved that it’s pet friendly, which meant we could bring our two German...

Hawkesbury River Guest House

10/10 Excellent

"Great spot, everything was clean when we got there and all the information was provided by the host"

The Wollombi Wanderer by Tiny Away

8/10 Good

"This accommodation is in an excellent location, just a few kilomentres from Wollombi town centre. The tiny home was clean and neat. The bed was slightly uneven though we were comfortable enough. It would be good to have a screen door on the main door to stop insects coming in when wanting to leave the front door open. Thank you for a lovely Wollombu stay."

Kurrajong Trails and Cottages

8/10 Good

"Incredibly peaceful property and surroundings, giving an immersive experience with nature. The hosts are so lovely - they gave helpful instructions in the lead up to the stay. The cabin is cosy and the bed was comfortable. My fellow campers were glad to shelter within when the heat and flies became overwhelming at the campsite where they were. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up your own meals and dining in. The bathroom is a little small but it is clean. There was no curtain for the window looking in however thankfully with very few guests wondering around the site, we could maintain privacy. There are canoes and kayaks if you walk down to the valley - just note it is uphill on the way back so reserve some energy for that! Beautiful sunset at the gazebo to behold."

Rustic Charm Meets Natural Beauty

10/10 Excellent

"The host was really helpful! There was a double booking problem, but it got solved really quickly, so everything went as smooth as possible. However, somethings were not according to expected - only one of the 2 showers inside the house had hot water, and only body wash was provided. The BBQ also did not work properlyOverall, the stay was pretty good and, outside of that minor inconveniences, the experience was really heartwarming! Definitely recommend the place, specially if you have a big group of people!"

"Wallaby Lodge" Hawkesbury River

10/10 Excellent

"Everything feels new and shiny on the top floor. The view was even more beautiful than I expected, the road does run in front of the house but you are elevated and it's so quiet. The house is big and we had some unusually cold late-October days and the air conditioning warmed the place up in minutes. We cooked in the kitchen one night - it's not huge, but fine even for a big group - and we ate at the Wiseman's Ferry pub the other! Wifi is fast which is great because phone reception is patchy. Bedrooms upstairs are are lovely ones. Downstairs ones a little more basic but very clean and also have air con. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price."

The Wollombi Tiny House: Eco escape in the bush.

10/10 Excellent

"We experienced a wonderful weekend away in the Wollombi Valley enjoying the Tiny House stay, access to a fire pit and wonderful star gazing evenings. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys being grounded in nature and experiencing the sounds of the natural world of birds and little critters."

Redwood Park Wollombi

8/10 Good

"Lovely accommodation in a quiet location with kangaroos hopping past. Close to Wollombi town. Room is very spacious and has almost everything you need, including pod coffee machine. Bed was very comfortable. Style is stylishly simple and suits the area/landscape. Was easy to find and plenty of parking. Air-conditioning and fireplace available there. Only things we would mention is that as it is located in the bush there are many little insects - which is to be expected.... however, with no screen on the sliding door, we were not able to leave it open to allow fresh air in. Soundproofing is so so - we could hear people talking in the next room - but muffled. There was basically no wifi for our entire stay (including the tv with streaming services) - we would try to access it and be able to search one page loading for about 10minutes - even using a simple weather app was not possible - was hard to even get an iMessage through to host. As there is no reception there - including anywhere within the area - it was inconvenient for us. Would also mention that whilst the bathroom is nice and spacious, there is literally nowhere to place your toiletries bag - had to put it on the kitchen bench.... bit odd."

Rustyque Escape in Colo Heights - Pets Welcome

10/10 Excellent

"Such a great little place! The cottage was neat, clean and very peaceful. I found everything i needed was there and more. Staying there due to work commitments, it's great to have the ability to cook a feed, have a hot shower and a good night's sleep...tick!Debbie was lovely and communication was excellent. And while phone service and internet is poor in the area, i still had no real issue making calls... albeit at the outdoor table.Certainly, have no hesitation in staying again! Thanks Debbie."
