« This property was perfect for our family get together. It was clean, cozy and well equipped. The dogs had a blast. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect. Other water activities were enjoyed by all and the dock was perfect for fishing We loved it!! Oh and the cinnamon rolls were super yummy! Thanks for a great stay! »

« We were in town for a family function. This spot was close everything we needed and had a room for my mom and my college age daughter. In a hotel, we would have been on top of each other! The neighborhood was super quiet and I walked every morning not seeing a soul! Good visit. A bar of bathroom soup would have been nice, but everything else was amazing. »

« The toilet was not cleaned...I do believe truly an oversight but that was a bit yucky to have to do. I'd have liked to see some tupperware bowls, aluminum foil and or baggies for leftovers. Location was great!! Overall though I would recommend this to friends. »

« We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation. »

« Tanya opted to add an additional deposit a month after I paid in full for a 4 day stay over the Christmas holiday. Then she canceled the reservation 45 minutes after check in time, and she lied about sending a confirmation email. Then she lied about having a water leak. Terrible customer service from the very beginning!! When you book a place you expect to enjoy time with their family… Not be verbally harassed regarding her additional deposit. It was my husband and my six year old! She clearly...

« Spent 4 nights with adult children and 5 grandsons aged 2 and under. Plenty of space for all. Of course had to keep close eye on grandsons when close to water, but great floats, pedal boat, kayaks, canoe. Built a fire most nights. Good time together. »
