I only stayed as a stop while driving from North Carolina to Boston, but all staff members were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine. Great experience.
Property was new clean very friendly staff you could walk to the gas station mini market but it’s kind of far from Jim Thorpe and there was some road closures hard to find your way there but other than that nice place if your doing anything around that area
The hotel and its rooms are very clean and modern. Purified water refills, hot tea and coffee available 24/7. Decent gym. Breakfast was pretty good. Cheapest gas station nearby - which was a pleasant surprise (especially these days)
Customer service was good and the property was in like new condition. On the negative side, the rooms were a little small and the lobby furniture was uncomfortable.
Excellent hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and professional, and the service exceeded my expectations. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and an overall wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Stripped down, but very functional. Super friendly and cheerful staff. Decent breakfast was a surprise.
Dinged them one star for having thin walls, but otherwise would recommend
First time traveling in this area. Hotel appeared new. Room was adequately cleaned. Walls are pretty thin. At night, I could hear banging and walking from the upstairs and side rooms. The complementary breakfast is satisfactory. Bagels, toast, oatmeal, cold cereal, sausage, eggs, juice, coffee etc.
Overall, I would come to this hotel again if I am visiting the area.
I liked the property of the hotel and the rooms were clean and the staff was great but the breakfast was too early and we couldn’t eat cause they should change it to about 10 o’clock in the morning instead of 9 o’clock in the morning.
I stayed here for 1 night during a weekend motorcycle road trip with my daughter. The property seems as if it is brand new. The external property is clean and well-lit. The interior was again, as if brand new...very modern with all the needed amenities for a tired traveler. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Our room was very clean and in well-prepared for us. We did not have time to use the fitness center. Breakfast the following morning was typical of what is provided by the Hampton Inns, Holiday Inns, Fairfield Inns, etc. Breakfast was pleasant and the coffee was hot, delicious and plentiful. We will surely stay here again if our travels take us to the Hazleton area.
The hotel was very clean and everything felt new. It smelled fresh and pleasant throughout. Everything was excellent and I had a wonderful stay. Staff very friendly Also body wash and lotion are amazing.
Thank you 🌞
Wonderful hotel with all the necessary amenities. The staff - specifically the general manager April - were friendly, kind and very helpful. The cleaning staff understood our specific schedule and worked around it as well. Breakfast provided a good start to the day! Great experience!
I really enjoyed my stay at this Tru by Hilton location! The hotel was beautifully designed, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay.
Breakfast was great! Nothing overly extravagant, but everything they offered was good, and I appreciated the selection.
However, the real stars of the show were the staff! Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. You could tell they had a great working relationship with one another, and that positive energy carried over into how they treated their guests. It’s clear that the team takes pride in maintaining the property and making sure everyone feels well taken care of.
One small interaction really stood out to me. I was checking out after breakfast had already ended and jokingly mentioned that I was too late to grab one last glass of orange juice. Without hesitation, a staff member went out of their way to turn the juice machine back on just for me!
Now, was it a huge deal? Of course not. But that’s exactly why I appreciated it so much. Breakfast was already over, I was checking out, and they had absolutely no obligation to do that. Yet they did, simply because they wanted to make a guest happy. It’s those little gestures that turn a good hotel stay into a memorable one.
The entire team deserves recognition for the wonderful job they’re doing.
