« Items the hotel could do better: linens and cleanliness overall. It is an old building in need of repairs, ok- pretty normal. Bed sheets were scratchy and poor quality with the top layer feeling more like a shower curtain than bed linen. Shower towels were nearly see-through thin and came only with 1 in a king size suite room with a hot tub on a reservation for 2. Yes, staff did give more when asked but a single poor quality one to start was weird, at the least. There were stickers and pen-drawn...

« First time visiting Detroit Lakes. We were here for sports. We were able to check in an hour early because our room was done. Room was clean. No complaints at all. They have a restaurant you can eat at. They also have a bar. There were chairs out back by the beach area if you want to sit out by the lake. The pool is nothing spectacular but does include a hot tub and sauna. Very close to everything. They have rentals outback through GoGo rentals if you are interested in renting a boat, jet ski,...

« The ice machines were not working, they were froze up. Their was police or ice agents activity their. On line they said the breakfast was open at 6:00 am, but didn't open up until 7 am. Change it please. Take off the previous owners off the web, it was very confusing. Other wise the breakfast was good, the juice machine was not working and had trouble with the waffle machine. Get things fix please. Will not go their again because of all these problems, poor management. »

« The employees were fantastic and helpful, the property was a disaster. Parking lot had more potholes than flat surface. The hallway carpet was 20 years beyond replacement and they never vacuumed. The hallway smells like mold from a leaking roof. The first room that we were placed in was nonsmoking. We were in that room for 10 minutes and our t- shirts smelled like we had smoked a pack of cigarettes from absorbing the rooms smell. They put us in another room that was better, but not clean...

« I didn't like that we had to pay for breakfast at the "Bistro." When I called regarding charging stations nearby I was told there was one by the "Noodles & Co a short distance away. Tried them and they did not work (both of them). And the front desk did not have any info. »
