« Nice, affordable, private, and very clean modern cabins. Perfect as a base camp, 40 minutes from Copper Harbor. We enjoyed the mountain bike trails as well in Calumet, where the trail head is a short bike ride away from the cabin. I would highly recommend staying if you enjoy silent sports like cross country skiing, hiking, or mountain biking. the cabins are also a five-minute car ride to some great beaches on Lake Superior. »

« The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved how peaceful it was and a wonderful place to take walks on the road along the lake. One morning I even saw 6 eagles in one tree on the lake. The perfect location to sightsee the Copper Country and western UP with my kids and visit family. »

« The house had everything we could have needed. I had a nice conversation with the owner who was welcoming and helpful. Our only issue was the comfort of the loveseat hide-a-bed. Handy but unable to sleep on it. Our daughter used seat cushions from the loveseat and chair and slept on the floor. Would not hesitate to come again with 2 adults! »

« Location on white sand beach was superb. Best time I’ve ever had in the Keweenaw. Campfires on beach every night. Plenty of wood and tinder. Lighting in house isn’t good for reading. Lights over sink and table were hard to turn on. Appliances could have been cleaned better. Overall house condition average at best »

« This property was ideal to accommodate our large group of friends and children for a reunion of MTU classmates. The house is HUGE so no one felt crowed. The basement had lots of fun games to keep our teenage children occupied. Some of the furniture has definitely seen better days, but everything was very clean. It was easy walking distance to both downtown Hancock and Houghton. I would definitely request to stay again if staying in the area with a large group. »
