First and most importantly the beds. Mattresses were way too soft or overused and sleeping there started causing back issues by day 3\. We did ask the staff and they were helpful trying to fix the situation and although it improved (they changed the mattress pad) it was still uncomfortable. So if you don’t like soft or sunken mattresses I would avoid. Second is location. Location is fine in terms of how close it is to some tourist attractions but it is one the outer edges of the “nice” area and the neighborhood feels less inviting. It’s good if you want a bit of quiet but not ideal otherwise. The good: Staff like always in Japan was amazing. Rooms are cute and pretty, albeit small. Property is overall clean and cozy.
