Norris Nook-1 bedroom lakeview condo at Waterside Marina, near "The Loyston"

"What a delight it was to stay at the Norris Nook! Beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, gorgeous view and wonderful hosts. It is the perfect size for my husband and I. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and we spent way too little time at the pool - we only had an hour or so to spare and it was so refreshing. I wish we had more time; will definitely be back to stay at the Nook."

"Amazing place with gorgeous views and a wonderful pool. Also no bugs even at night! Great location and nice dock area less than a minute down the hill by car. Easy to get to the slip and easy parking. The house indoors and out has so much great space and is really comfortable. Host was really accessible and helpful. We definitely plan to come back again and hopefully bring our adult kids. Cute little bar up the road by the winery with very friendly staff and patrons. Boat rental at Sugar Hollow is easy and close. We can’t say enough about this house. We have stayed at Norris several times and this was one of the very best! Kitchen area is huge and well stocked. Refrigerator both upstairs and downstairs. Washer and dryer on both floors too. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Wish we lived here!!"

"Very nice property. The house was large and beautiful. Wish it was closer to the lake but the value was good. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Overall I give it an A."

"We had a marvelous stay in Floating Holiday 4. The house was exactly as described in the listing. We were very happy with the selection of dishes, bowls, pots and pans and supplies. It had plenty of everything we could have wanted. The view from the front porch is outstanding. You could not have asked for a more wonderful lake vacation. Mary is a wonderful hostess. She provides all of the information you need ahead of time. She checked on us at arrival and during our stay just to make sure we didn’t need anything and that we were happy with everything. We loved our stay!!"
Lakefront Cottage with Private Dock on Norris Lake

"The house, the boat dock, and the lake were amazing. The dock easily accommodated two 23 foot boats. We had a great time and were very pleased with the accommodations. The last couple of miles on the road leading to the house were challenging in a vehicle and even more so when pulling a boat - NO room when meeting another vehicle. Would recommend first unloading your boat at a nearby marina and leaving the trailer if that’s permitted. While the driveway was a little tricky for maneuvering two boats/trailers, the neighbors were very helpful and friendly."

"The home was very clean and was as pictured on the listing. The walk down to the water was definitely a gentle slope. The dock has plenty of room for relaxing but the boat traffic can make the boats tied to the dock really rock. You don’t really feel the rocking on the dock itself. We made a few kitchen supply suggestions to the owner so that it is easier to cook for the number it says the house can sleep."

"The house was nice and well stocked. The only concern we had was I messaged the host that the closet shelf in the basement bedroom had colllapse and the closet was unusable and the closet door on the main floor bedroom was off the track. I wanted to make sure we were not charged for damage we did not do The host did not respond."

Waterfront Norris Lake Gem, Sleep 11, Dock, Fire Pit

"This home was absolutely stunning! A very clean and quiet space. There were some small things that added up. The ramp to walk out onto the dock was under water. So we had to walk a good 10ft out, with our 3 kids on the submerged ramp to get to the dock and onto our boat. The internal slip of the dock was broken and had pieces in the way so the boat had to be parked on the outside of the dock. Both coffee pots were broken, the Keurig did work (had to go get pods for that). The ice machine did not work and the air hockey table was also broken (missing a prong to plug in). The fire pit area appears to be under construction and was sightly covered in weeds with part of what should have been a closed off area, not closed off appropriately. Overall, this was a perfect place for us to stay! Beautiful property. Host was great! Just can’t give it a full 5 starts due to some of the smaller inconveniences."
