While Guffey only has a population of 111, it boasts a bakery and two restaurants, a small grocery market, antique store, post office, fire station, school, and a community garden is in the works. « We stayed at one of those tiny homes. It was cute and comfortable for six of us. The only thing is the heater. it got really hot where the queen bed was, but all the other area stayed pretty cold. So some of us were sweating at night but some of us were freezing. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Had beautiful view of mountains, got to see some deer on the site as well. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay! »

« We enjoyed are cabin, we appreciated that we could lock a gate and had lighting outside to feel safe. Although the drive from the main road is rough if you maintain a speed around 35mph it isn't too bad. The near by lake was amazing! And pikes national forest is a must too see! Our daughter enjoyed the upstairs loft and neve came down. Hopefully we can rent this cabin same time next year. »

« Cute cabin in the mountains. roads are mostly paved, last bit is gravel. hills can be steep but we easily were able to get a 38ft RV into the property. The "garage" was a hit with our teenage twins, with air hockey, pool, basketball, etc. It is very quiet at night, and quite a bit of wildlife. we brought our pups, they also had a great time. very easy drive to the Wolf Sanctuary and Divide. Woodland Park has lots of amenities and eating places. Definitely a redo for us in the future. »
