Wonderful girls weekend trip

Wonderful property & hosts!
You know when you get to a place and you can see how the pics were taken to flatter the place but the reality isn't so nice? This was the opposite - even better than we expected! We came from California for 4 nights during spring break to see dinosaur footprints and the eclipse. We had such a good time!! I wish we could have stayed longer and I might have tried to extend our stay were it not for obligations back home. Everything about the house was lovely, kitchen was well-stocked, tons of towels, no issues with noise, gorgeous decor. Tons of thoughtful little details - outlets/USB charging ports on lamps, luggage racks, bathroom has a heated fan for when you get out of the shower, treats for the horses. Brad gave us excellent local recommendations: - Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - wasn't on my radar at all - it was incredible and one of the highlights of the trip! - Granbury Town Square - highlights were the oils/vinegars/spices at 1870, toys and decor from Wagon Yard, and homemade fudge at Southern Star Market. Unfortunately the Silver Saddle Saloon was closed. - Stumpy's - went for lunch - the menu has a joke: "Kid's Menu aka duck food" - accurate. You could have walked across the hungry carp. - Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenville - we had never been to a BBQ place where you met the pit master - worth the drive! - Family ranch - Brad & family were so kind in showing us around and letting us meet their animals. Thanks so much Brad & fam!

This house is absolutely gorgeous. My family had a wonderful time. The house is super comfortable, has lovely decorations. Stocked well. Conveniently located by Glen Rose and Granbury. We will definitely be back.

Great Farmhouse stay perfect for visiting Glen Rose and Granbury
Property Manager was great. Took my kids to visit the animals on the property. House is just the right size for a family of 4 to stay.

Awesome Christmas Stay!
What can I say? We were looking for a place out in the country to spend Christmas with the family and this was the perfect spot! Cozy living room with the propane fireplace. Huge kitchen with a big dining room table for games. The horses in the pasture were fun to watch everyday. The owner gave us a great tour of the ranch (on Christmas day no less) which was very much appreciated. Great experience! Will definitely return if we are ever in the area again!

Beautiful Get Away

I had an outstanding experience with this rental. If I could have given them ten stars I certainly would have. There are just not enough words to summarize this property. The advertisement and pictures do not even come close to representing the sense and feel of Texas Hospitality at its finest. The property managers went out of their way to accommodate the needs of my family. My mother did not even realize we were not at home. My granddaughter received personalized instruction on how to interact with the horses, goats, and Longhorn cattle. Buck the guard dog kept everyone informed and safe. It was just a truly amazing place to stay. My only regret was having to leave. Many thanks to Mr. Brad and his family.

A clean, cozy, and well furnished rental
My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this rental. The owners were responsive and also kind to allow my kids to feed their horses and pet their goats. The home is one of the best furnished and "feels like new" properties we have rented through VRBO. The only negative of this rental was mentioned in a pervious review - especially light sleepers be warned one of the beds is "creaky" and the property is close to a highway, but I heard no more road noise than I would at a typical hotel. My kids already informed me that if we come back to this area this is the place they want to stay, and I'm happy to oblige.

Sweet little ranch house
The house was beautiful and had all the nice touches, shampoo and conditioner, bandaids, paper towels, napkins, fully stocked kitchen (only thing we could have used was a glass or ceramic casserole pan), dvds for all. Everything was immaculate and clean! It was great for our family and 1 year old twins who slept in Pack n plays. Only downside was the bed mattress in the master room was a bit noisy/creaky getting in and out of and woke up a baby. The other bedroom mattress was comfy, but was a bit tall and hard to climb into for a shorter person (i am 5ft3in) if you have mobility issues this bed may be difficult to get into. Bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper since you can hear traffic pick up around 5 am. Overall great stay and great host! Brad was happy to let us arrive early for nap time and was quick to reply. We loved feeding the horses treats every day!

Parents weekend at Tarleton
This is a fantastic place to stay. Super easy to get to and an outstanding property. House was super clean, new and had everything you would need. Awesome info on things to do in Granbury. A awesome little town, with a lot of history. Look forward to going back to visit our daughter at Tarleton. We will be staying here again.

Awesome family place
We had a wonderful time! The house was very clean and smelled new. The kitchen cabinets were well stocked with all new pots and pans. We have stayed places before with old and gross pans which makes cooking less desirable but here it would have been a great experience. The only downside was the second bedroom having a full side bed (as advertised) which was fine for our kids but for adults it may be a bit crowded. The horses were beautiful to look at as well. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family!

Quiet Ranch
What a beautiful new home on a lovely little ranch! Easy access and close to so many things to do. If you are looking for quiet with the feel of secluded (but 1.5 miles from the nearest Dollar General), this open floor plan is perfect.

Cute weekend getaway
Nice, quiet separated guest house. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. Host communicated well. He quickly responded to a small issue and resolved it satisfactory. Definitely recommend.
