« Fantastic last minute find after our initial booking was cancelled. We absoutley loved the little village of Bayfield. We enjoyed our early morning bike rides to Clan Gregor Square and Pioneer Park in the afternoon to watch the sunset. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay away from home perfect. « What a great time! The A Frame is everything it’s claimed to be and more. Beautiful outdoor space, charming seaside decor, and a full kitchen for those who like to cook. The staircase leading to the beach is definitely for the sure-footed, but our group was up for the adventure and made several trips down there—watch your step! The welcome package had everything we needed prior to our arrival, so all that was left to do was enjoy. Thanks to Gavin and Laura for a great experience. »

The cabin provided enough space for personal privacy while allowing time to socialize and nurture friendship. We spent a lot of time touring the Huron region and always felt excited to return to our rustic oasis. Leslie was always quick to answer our communication and created a welcoming environment. « Our first impression was just”Wow”! That was from the outside. Going inside, there were more Wows! and “Look at this”, and “This place is awesome!” I would call the architecture and decor Scandinavian minimalist-in the best possible sense.The cottage is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. And we definitely got the message from the owners that they wanted us to enjoy ourselves and feel at home. We did both. Would highly recommend this cottage for a quiet getaway. »

« First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

« This cottage is styled so beautifully - with calming neutral tones & vintage finds. The stone fireplace was nice to have (and pretty to look at) on the chilly nights. It's a very comfortable space to be in! The covered side porch is a nice extension to the living space in warmer weather & a great spot to watch the sunrise over the back field. « We had such a great weekend staying here. Everything we could’ve needed was available in the kitchen once we got our groceries. All spices, pots, pans, oils, sugar, even coffee was provided and it was enough for us as we only stayed for a weekend. The private beach area was perfect for the kids! We set up a little sun shelter, and the kids played in the sand in our own area. The water was too cold as we were there at the beginning of June, but it was still a perfect beach trip for us regardless....

« This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home. »

Arrival and check-in went smoothly and we found the cottage to be as advertised, freshly renovated and well within our standards of cleanliness. We were concerned of the neighbors and dealing with noise complaints given past reviews and the fact that the public beach access stairs are on this property however we had no issues with any of the neighbors. « Was a beautiful property nice beach although the stairs going down to it were dangerous they need to be rebuilt also bbq tanks were empty cost me 40 dollars to get a tank One of my friends stepped on a fastener going down steps it went through his shoe and into his foot overall it was a great stay »

« We all had such a wonderful time. So close the Goderich, approx. 15 minute walk, and the beach. So much room inside and outside (huge yard which my 6 year old grad-daughter enjoyed). Large deck to sit and relax. A truly beautiful place. Would highly recommend and we all hope to return. »
