"There are two rooms, coming off a lounge room, which are all very spacious, big tick. We arrived at 5pm. The whole place was locked up on a day that was 30 degrees. It was boiling hot. NO AIR-CONDITIONING AT ALL. None in the lounge, none in the bedroom. We opened it up but it was still unbearably hot when we went to bed at 10pm. The next morning it was already hot at 9am. This is a serious issue. The bed was comfortable enough but the mattress is showing signs of age. Toilet runs on tank water but put some blue loo in it, the water is very dark grey. Very clean. Nice breakfast, but needs attention to detail and a 2026 flavour."

"The dog loved it!....and so did we.Marilyn, covering for Douglas, was very welcoming.The dam is only 2 metres from the front door, and it is teaming with Birdlife and beautiful lilypillies.Within 10 min, you have fantastic dog friendly restaurants at Coolum, and the Stummer Creek dog "off the leash" area is the best I've seen!Only negative is the clunky Stayz system."

"Joanne was a great host. Easy communication and quick to respond. The house is beautiful. View from the kitchen and desk is unreal. The pool is fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked which made it so was for our group. "

"The public spaces (kitchen, lounge, decks, pool, etc) were generally excellent - generous in size and well furnished. There were also lots of extras - a decent sound system, more TVs than we could use, excellent wi-fi. And (for once) a site that provides more than enough cutlery, crockery and pantry staples. Top marks for all that. However, renters need to be aware that the property is divided across two houses, some distance apart (and up a decent hill). The lower house has a rather odd setup, with multiple double beds in a single room, significantly impacting its usefulness for most groups. Likewise, at least one of the rooms in the upper house is tiny, to the point of being uncomfortable. Together, this leads us to doubt the advertised 'accommodates 35'. We found it tricky with 18, and that was an extended family in which cousins were OK sharing rooms, etc.Location is better than expected. While it seems 'out in the bush' (and has the quiet ambience to match), there is plenty to see and do in the area, even (despite the appreciated alert from the hosts) easy shopping at the local IGA and at nearby Nambour."

"Excellent amenities except TV remote! Could have benefited from a diagram indicating the various functions. Also very hard to switch on and off.Lack of written instructions was a negative (especially during a period when power outages common). Have never encountered this elsewhereThe place was fabulous, the management not so good. No dishwasher detergent, two very small sachets of ordinary dish detergent, only two plastic bags, one tea towel. no ordinary black tea bags (lucky we brought our own!) Felt mean!Also management made an arrangement to come to premises one day re cleaning and didn't turn up. Promised to bring missing items and didnt. No explanation. "
