Our hosts had homemade treats for us each day (an oatmeal raisin cookie our first day and a piece of spice cake the next). Our breakfast was at a large table with the other guests. "The hotel is easy to find and parking is not a problem. The staff are very welcoming and registration was simple and efficient. The room I had was massive, and very comfortable. Warm . The only drawback was the noise from the street outside all night long. However, the hotel does prove earplugs which I could have used. The breakfasts were first class, it's very rare to get a hot breakfast from a buffet style restaurant. But they have mastered it, The rooms themselves were warm, clean and comfortable, but a little tired. With patches of carpet a but bare... But then , the price of the room is definitely budget and still very well worth it. I hope to be back."

Centrally located so it was probably noisy on the side facing Botchergate but they do provide complementary earplugs, my room overlooked a private car park so the earplugs were not required but were used at the Blues Festival."
