However I chose this hotel specifically for the onsen. I was very disappointing that the water caused almost an allergic reaction to my skin. After just one visit to the onsen my skin became extremely dry and itchy. I thought it was the soap so i took my own soap the next day and sat in the onsen again. It made my skin even worse almost cracking. I didn't use their onsen again after that. Ive gone to many other onsen in Japan because i love the hot water and normally I'm fine.
