The service was excellent. We had a great time there and the hosts were very kind and very welcoming. We came late and they still provided us with service. Me and my friend at first just want to spend a night in a traditional Japanese Ryokan(旅館). Then we came across this one in hotels.com and immediately in love with it. I drove there all the way from Kyoto, with a stopover in Hikone along the Biwako Sazanami street. It was a really relaxing drive. The hotel offers a very nice Kaiseki dinner and breakfast inside a private room. It also has an outdoor Onsen for the visitors. Unluckily, it was raining in the next morning and we couldn't go to the Yoro waterfall. I really would love to stay in here again next time. P.S., I couldn't reply to the hotel's messages because I was driving and didn't check my email. I've never had service like this before. If you're looking for a perfect mixture of traditional and modern, and a remote location in nature, this is for you.
