    Coastal Hideaway is a cozy 450-square-foot loft that can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. However, due to the limited space, it is better suited for two adults and possibly two young children. The loft's layout and amenities are designed to provide a comfortable stay for a small family or a couple looking for a romantic getaway.

    Coastal Hideaway is situated above the garage in our residence, featuring its own private entrance from the main house. You'll have your own private balcony with a beautiful Arbutus tree next to it.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and had everything we needed. However, I did sleep on the futon and that was not very comfortable. So, if you don't have to use it during your stay all is well. :)

As the beautiful place is upstairs, it was like staying in a perfectly appointed tree house. So peaceful and quiet. Two mornings in a row, my dog and I observed a Doe with her newborn fawn meandering down the driveway and into the old growth forest. So lovely. The hosts thought of everything from fully appointed kitchen and bathroom to pet dishes, towels and blankets. The choice of materials, furniture and finishes from floor to ceiling are top notch and so tasteful. I really appreciated the importance placed on recycling and composting as well. So important and made so easy for guests to comply with. My dog Rio and I look forward to more visits. It’s always fun visiting this special part of BC. Much to explore in Gibsons, Sechelt and area. The scenery is second to none. Great coffee and fantastic food is everywhere.

It was fabulous. Exactly as shown in photos and the pantry items were so helpful. It was super pet friendly. The hosts were communicative in just the right ways. Deer frequented the neighbourhood and the tree house feel was delightful. My cat and I loved the deck. Short walk to Secret Beach and Gospel Rock (amazing). A perfect retreat, will stay again!

This place is so great! It had everything I needed, excellent location. Although I have stayed on the Sunshine Coast many times, I have never stayed in Gibson, so this was perfect for what I needed. Very clean, bright, affordable! I would definitely stay here again, thank you!

The perfect place for our getaway

Perfect Overnight Stay

My friend and I stayed in Nimal’s guesthouse and it was perfect. The house was more spacious than we expected and was very clean. It had a private entrance and felt like we were in a treehouse. I will definitely look at this place again next time I’m in the area.

This was one of the best vacation houses I’ve ever stayed in for the price! Everything was SO clean which I value a lot. And everything was labeled and there were nice extras like games, blankets, maps and guides, and bug spray! And the AC felt so good after a hot summer day. It really felt like a vacation since we do not have AC. Beautiful location and close to everything too

It was a great stay! Super clean! Lots of room. Very quiet! If you have a high prey drive dog, just be aware there are lots of deer and the main doors are sliding glass doors, so your dogs will see them. Not a bad thing, my dog just lost her mind and was super loud and I felt bad that everyone likely heard her. Other then that it was great!

Quiet vacation in Gibsons

A very nice, clean, private and clean studio suite.The place was very clean, can sleep up to 4 people. Located in a very quiet neighborhood on a small street. The view from all windows and the balcony over a wide scenery of different trees.This is very close to two beaches.Definitely worth a revisit.Strongly recommended

Perfectly cozy

For just a what it lacked in size the owners make up for in what they supply. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. And all the extras you don’t always expect with a rental. Bug spray, beach towels, coffee, and shower needs! We’ll stay again if we ever come back to Gibsons.

Lovely quiet spot. Hosts were responsive and understanding as plans change. The bed was comfortable (the couch, not so much). Adequate parking. Only recommendation would be to have some milk or cream for coffee or to be clear that you need to bring your own. Thanks for the lovely stay.

A stay for a wedding

I have been in Gibsons for the wedding of my daughter. The loft was spotless. Everything I have needed was there, including olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The VRBO was just down the hill from my daughter's home. Everything was top notch including the towels, storage space, Wifi connection; heating etc. My limited contact with Animal, the host, was helpful and friendly. I thoroughly recommend this loft.

Our stay at Nimal's place could not have been smoother. Everything about the place is so well organized! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal. The loft is spotless and quiet. Fantastic place close to the best beach

This property was well appointed with lovely décor. Very peaceful surroundings with mother deer and two babies passing through! There were all the amenities provided that anyone could possibly need and the welcoming bowl of chocolates, soda and chips was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this apartment as a base for anyone exploring the Sunshine Coast. Its location, right by Secret Beach, was perfect. That said, it’s also only a few minutes drive away from the highway, was very convenient to go south to Gibsons or north to Sechelt and beyond. In summary, a fantastic place to stay!

Incredible stay! Perfect for anyone looking for some peace and quiet, and a good home base to explore the Sunshine Coast. Our hosts even left thoughtful information on things to do nearby! This property met all our needs (and surpassed our expectations), including a full kitchen adequately stocked with pretty much everything you could need (even the pesky can opener you forgot) to cook basic meals in during your stay! If you were planning to do the majority of your cooking in, I’m sure you could request things likes tinfoil, an extra casserole dish or mixing bowl from the host! The hosts were also thoughtful in providing a few extras (e.g. board games, blankets, tea and coffee) that make your stay that much more enjoyable. Overall the studio welcomed us with a lovely and functional atmosphere from check-in to check-out!

Great for a getaway!

The deer and her fawns welcomed me as I pulled up to the location. They watched me unload the car. 🙂 I was a little concerned about the steep stairs but they were not slippery at all. Everything was where it should be and the suite had everything I needed for my two night stay. The bed was comfortable and the area quiet. I couldn’t figure out how to cast my phone to the tv and so ended up watching Netflix under someone else’s profile. This wasn’t a big deal. I would stay again!!
