"We will never stay at Crossroads Inn again. Our experience was awful, and honestly, 90% of the problem was the staff. From the moment we checked in, there was absolutely no welcoming hospitality. The front desk never greeted us or welcomed us to the hotel. Instead, it was immediately, “Checking in? Last name?” They then proceeded to tell us that our card would only be charged for incidentals if we broke something or if there was an issue with the room, that there was no free breakfast, no housekeeping service, and that housekeeping would not be cleaning our room during our stay. The worst experience came after our second night. We called the front desk around 5:00 PM on a Saturday during a holiday weekend and simply asked for fresh towels. The response we received was shocking: “No. Housekeeping has gone home.” There was no apology, no attempt to help, and no sympathy whatsoever—just a blunt “No.” On a busy holiday weekend, housekeeping was apparently unavailable by early evening. That level of customer service is unbelievable. The room itself was not much better. The carpet was dirty, the shower had cracked tiles, and both the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Outside the rooms, cigarette butts were scattered all over the ground. Even though our room was designated as non-smoking, it smelled like people had been smoking in it. Parking was also extremely tight and inconvenient. Overall, this was a horrible experience from start to finish. Between the poor customer service"
