The room and grounds are clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly. The issues I had were, this is listed as a pet friendly hotel and I would not agree with that. There is not a pet relief area on the grounds and when I asked for areas the only ones available were right on a busy road, in a flower bed, or the hotel next door. So keep this in mind when traveling with a dog. I proactively paid the pet feed the week before my trip assuming it would be easier and in doing this gave them my credit card after already paying for my stay with a virtual card and not only did they try to run the whole stay through my personal card twice even though it was already paid, now 3 days after my stay they have run the pet fee through a second time. There was an issue with the room door code and the battery being dead in the lock and honestly I question if my room locked at all the first three days I was there. The rooms are very small. The toilet was a foot and a half from our bed if we did not slide the door shut it was a ghastly sight! The pictures are quiet deceiving! This hotel is located on the busiest street in town we were there over Thanksgiving and it took us an hour to get out and cover 1 mile with bumper to bumper traffic. I had hoped to have a relaxing time but honestly there was no place to relax in the room and there is no common area. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit on the balcony. We are experienced travelers and found it to be totally overpriced at almost 450.00 a night we stayed in the Majestic Glen. That said the staff was amazing and very responsive, they have a nice upscale restaurant on site with good food. This was a lifesaver because all restaurants in town were packed with people and with no availability. There is nothing wrong with the room. But you should review where the hotel is compared to downtown. It is a little bit away from everything, but that was a plus for a peaceful evening. Dinner ate the Heirloom Room was AMAZING! I loved that we had our own parking spot. The rooms were fairly quiet you didn't hear a lot of road noises so that was a plus.
