All on one floor,clean,quiet,comfortable,well outfitted, everything we needed!We also very much enjoyed the fenced yard and gazebo,good for reading and napping. Our grandkids visited and loved all the vintage "toys". Also hosts very responsive when a repair was needed Faye's place is very special! »

A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. The mansion in La Crosse was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cargill-Pettibone mansion. Lots of room and nice accommodations. We would definitely recommend it to a larger group. »

Friday night we had a small get together before heading out to local restaurants and all who stopped by commented on how beautiful the house was and how great the location is. Both inside and outside were great- was a great venue for the 8 of us who stayed. Already looking at dates for the next get together- and making a reservation for “the house” will be top on the list of to dos. »
