Nancy and her new front desk mate were lovely! So kind and accommodating! Our room itself was nice and spacious, but our bathroom needed some serious upgrades. It does appear they are working on the upgrades as other photos of other rooms have much nicer bathrooms. But that did not deter us from giving it five stars. The location is perfect! Close to many ski resorts if you want to ski. We did tubing at Frisco Adventure Center and it was a blast! Breck was also a short drive. The downtown itself is filled with cute shops, food spots, and the cutest wine bar! There was ample parking in the back for $15/day. Happy hour was also a nice treat. My friends and I enjoyed sitting by the fire sipping our wine and reading. I would defiantly stay here again if I wanted to be in the mountains but not at a busy ski resort. I’ve never been to this hotel and just chose it randomly at the last minute and cannot believe how she has bent over backwards to make us comfortable and help us. My son was in a skiing accident in the area and was taken by ambulance to the hospital here and his dad and I who live out of state were flying here frantically to try to get to him, but were delayed with bad weather. Nancy, the hotel manager offered to go get him at the hospital when he was discharged and drove him in her personal car here to the hotel and got him settled into bed, hauling all his ski gear as well. And not to mention, but the hotel is charming and so lovely with a huge fireplace and lots of places to sit and relax, and just enjoy the fire and the snow falling outside.
