A: Upon request Paula (239) 839 3059 will send you a grocery request form prior to your arrival and will bring the groceries to the home for you She charges 40%of the total grocery bill.. Alternatively, you may bring groceries with you. If you choose to bring groceries, we suggest ordering ahead of time at the Publix Supermarket Instacart (239) 558 6087 nearest Pine Island and picking the order up on your way to the Ferry. Our own private beach, shells galore, turtles, dolphins, manatees… amazing! The property had everything we needed and more. Paula and Chris were easy to work with and helped us get the grocery process figured out. We all enjoyed the change of pace with golf cart life to go over to the pool. The house was so comfortable and had a view from every room. We stayed 9 nights and made use of all of the amenities the home had to offer - including our favorite, the hot tub on several nights. The home was clean and perfectly ready for our stay with everything we needed (towels, well stocked kitchen, blankets, etc.). We never had any of those moments where you feel like the house is missing something or you wish you had brought something else along with you. Chris and Paula both were friendly and very responsive over text before and during our stay if we had any questions (which we had some as newcomers to the island). The location on the island is truly the best. Incredible sunsets right out your window (or from the hot tub!) and a nice beach that our kids enjoyed running around on and playing (great shelling too!) and relaxing on the hammock. My 6 year old enjoyed fishing right from the beach as well. We really did not think there was a better location anywhere on the island even after exploring the entire island. We felt at home during our stay and are already planning to return to the island and rebook at Summer Breeze to make more family memories. Highly recommend it to anyone! ##### Bryant C. Shelling is not so good, no live bait on island but fishing was ok from shell reef. Pool at club (Mangos) wonderful - food there…yuk and $$$$ overall island felt deserted…we like that, we also were prepared and cooked amazing meals. Great cookware in kitchen! Porches were lovely to watch the sunsets. We liked island Girls for Ferry and do try Tarpon Lodge if you have time before Ferry. Amazing food and cocktails! Had a very relaxing week, but that was long enough without access to groceries, restaurants or decent shelling and bait. ##### Beth M. It is furnished so well and a few steps to the beach ! It feels like you’re home there because of comfort ! I can’t explain enough how much of a help the property manager, Paula, was for us . From having our groceries stocked for us to checking in and making sure all of our needs were met . She has such a warm and positive personality and so welcoming ! Captain Richie gave us an excellent time inshore fishing one day. The owner was there in a second to get an AC unit working properly that we didn’t even notice wasn’t. Such a perfect location and lovely people ! The shells you find on this beach there are amazing ! The porch views from this home are indescribable. Thank you for everything! Hurricane Ian was rated Category 4.9, but this property & management are definitely 5/5 ratings! The home was beautiful & we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation before the hurricane made landfall. This house withstood the storm, unlike many of the surrounding homes on North Captiva. Paula, Captain Richie, & Chris have been awesome - they are kind and compassionate- we have new friends in Florida! Chris went above and beyond in getting our luggage back to us from begin evacuated by the USCG after the hurricane.
