Then one of the showers were clogged and although I spoke to them twice no one ever came to fix. Each couple having their own bathroom and shower was one of the renting points but that didn’t happen. The place was more run down from the year prior so probably will not stay again next year. I was very disappointed in the experience this year. Again didn’t exactly get what I paid for. ##### Beth O. This time we went with family, so we needed larger accommodations. This house did not disappoint! The kitchen was so well-stocked that we felt we were at home, which is saying something coming from people who love to cook. The living room couches and chairs are super comfortable. We appreciated the screened-in porch to get out of the sun, but still be outside. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room in each. The bathrooms needed some attention, although they are nice, they need a fresh coat of paint. Some are peeling and also have stains and runs on the walls. One of the shower heads was leaking so badly we couldn't use that shower, but a repairman came out the next day after we reported it. We loved that we could walk out the back doors, down the walkway, and be right on the beach without any steps. The only disappointing thing about the property was that 3 out of 4 chaise lounges on the back deck could not be used as the fabric was dry-rotted. The 4th chaise was close to being non-functional, and the chairs are not far behind it. The location is perfect as the beach was very quiet with little traffic on the road out front. Yet the town is only a few minutes' drive away. The loud droning noise could be heard from the back deck, and it was even louder when you sat on the beach in front of the house. Loved having direct access to the beach. Location was amazing! The yard is not completely fenced in, however, we took a baby gate to put up over the one opening and the deck going down to the beach. All 3 dogs did great staying in the back yard. If you have a small dog that might go thru the brush to get out, might not want to leave them unattended in the yard. Our dogs are larger and pretty well trained. We allowed them in the yard by themselves bc most of it is fenced it and the thick brush worked fabulous as the "rest of the fence". Worked perfectly. We had an amazing time while staying in Fun in the Sun. The house fulfilled all of our needs. The back deck was lovely to sit on with our dog am and pm. The yard was a great, the screened porch was a nice bonus, and the house was very comfortable. Also, the management company is responsive and very nice. It has taken me a week to write this review because I was too sad leaving last week!!! I can’t wait to get back to Folly, and hopefully to Fun in the Sun! ##### E E. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and had an incredible view of the ocean. The screened in porch was an excellent touch, and it was nice to go out there and enjoy meals while listening to the sounds of the ocean. The backyard wooden walkway heading to the beach was well maintained and was equipped with a convenient outdoor shower. This was especially helpful for cleaning sand off our feet after spending time on the beach. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at Folly Beach. Property is dog friendly and we brought our dog. The listing says the yard is fenced and it does have a fence but is open to the dunes in the back. We did fine but one can imagine a more rambunctious dog making a break through the dunes. The available linens/bath were all fine and beds were fine. Kitchen supplies were average. The keurig water container was moldy. We did our best to clean the machine and went ahead and used it. Appliances all worked. The boardwalk has been recently redone and is very nice. ##### Allison H.
