Awesome apartment overlooking Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, located on the first floor (2nd US floor) of a palace with elevator in the very central via Bardi in Florence. An excellent position in the heart of the city, few steps to all the main monuments and museums; it takes only 5 minutes by foot to get to the Duomo, the Boboli Gardens and the Uffizi Gallery.

The apartment is composed by three double bedrooms with TV, three complete bathrooms with shower and a wide comfortably commone space with kitchen and a large and bright living room.

Luxury Blue River is a fantastic apartment, provided with every possible comfort, overlooking on the marvelous Ponte Vecchio, one of the landmarks of Florence. This is a very big house (150 square metres 1614 square feet) with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, located in a perfect position to visit all the historical city centre. It takes less than 10 minutes by foot to get to all the maim monuments as Boboli Gardens, the Uffizi Gallery, the Basilica di Santa Croce and the Duomo of Florence.

Wonderful Location

Wonderful place to stay. Easy check in and great location. You are close to everything, there is even a grocery store across the street. It was a great place with plenty of room for my family of 6. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location, Great Host

Our stay in Florence was short. However, the Luxury Blue River was quite comfortable for our party of three and the locaton was fantastic. The apartment overlooks the river and is directly across from the Uffizi Gallery and we truly enjoyed the view. Also, our host Erica was kind, responsive, and made check in very easy. Plus, she provided restaurant recommendations from pizza to places serving favorite local dishes.

Breath taking views of Ponte Vecchio

Fabulous location just a few mins walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Very responsive communication, easy check in and out. A small lift/elevator in the building. Very clean and spacious.

Apartment is very pretty and in a great location! Very close to everything in downtown! Only complaint is living room furniture needs updating. The couches and chairs are worn and stained. But overall great place to stay!

Amazing Apartment on the River

Oh my goodness! The location was spectacular. Just my daughter and me, but what’s a location. Walking distance to so many things. Sunset on the river and grocery store across the street. Also Best gelato place is also there!! Would definitely stay here again!

You never know exactly what you are going to get when looking at things on line...but this property was as advertised. Perfect location and lots of room for the 5 of us to stretch out after wandering through the Tuscany country side.

Perfect Stay

This apartment has it all- it is perfectly situated at the edge of the Ponte Vecchio and near everything you need! It has fabulous views of the Arno, enough room and bathrooms for 6 people and well taken care of. This is the 2nd time I stayed here. I come to Florence a few times a year and will always check availability here first. It's a gem.

Fantastic apartment

Great location, lots of restaurants around the apartment. Short walk across the bridge into the heart of the city (10 minutes), so much to do and see. The apartment was fantastic, beds super comfy, warm and cosy with a view over the river. We had a few trials with transport getting to Florence but communication was excellent. Definately a 5* from all of us

Unbelievable condo in an unbeatable location

One of the most impressive properties I’ve visited. The massive windows open easily to the river and Ponte Vecchio. Easily walkable to all the main attractions in Florence, but still a bit less crowded than the area north of the River. The property manager was very responsive, check-in was seamless, and the place was exceptionally clean. Would absolutely recommend this spacious apartment for other groups!

Family vacation

An amazing location with a beautiful view. The A/C works so well that I was cold when sleeping. Plenty of hot water while showering as well. A great food grocery store across the street. If you plan to cook be aware there is nothing left behind from prior guests. Not even salt and pepper.

Great location & view

Really great location with a beautiful view. The host was very easy to communicate with and check in/out was simple. The property was spacious. The white furniture in the living area was stylish, but there were some stains that made it feel less clean than the rest of the property. The property did have a washer with laundry detergent but no dryer. Overall a great stay!

Can’t beat the location

This apartment is in a superb location and it’s very spacious. The hosts are extremely nice and accommodating! The white sofa is stained so it really should be replaced to make the living space more inviting. Also, the bedding on the beds is really thin and the extra duvet insert provided was dirty. This place could be A+++ with more luxurious bedding and updated living room furniture.

Incredible Location!

We were extremely happy to see how close this property was to everything from restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Checking in and checking out was seamless. The property was spacious for our family of 5. Having 3 bathrooms for 3 teens, was very helpful. The kitchen had everything you might need to make a meal. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were big. The view from the living room was amazing. Looking out over the river, watching the sunrise on the right and all the people on the bridge on the left was perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. A few things that need updating or cleaning are the furniture, walls and rug in the living room. New pillows would be good too!

Location is Not Everything

This property has a great location. Right on the arno river overlooking the ponte vecchio but the apartment is dirty. The furniture in the living room is disgusting. The sofa pillows are dirty and super worn. The bathrooms are bare - there is not even a place to put your soap in the shower. The bed had a bare duvet without a cover. the pillow did not have a pillow case. Nothing has been done to maintain the apartment, which is very sad since it has such a great location and it is a huge and very nice apartment. Sadly it is just not well maintained. The pictures are of when the property was originally listed. They are not an accurate depiction of the condition of the apartment.

Incredible apartment and location in Florence

We just returned from 1 week at Luxury Blue River and it was one of the very best family vacations we have ever had. The group was two adults, 3 kids in their 20's and one teenager. The apartment is spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable and have lots of storage. The bathrooms were well equipped with hair dryers, large towels, and good showers. The location of this apartment is breathtaking! I am an Italy Travel Specialist by profession and the views from this apartment knocked my socks off! This was perhaps my 10th time to Florence in addition to having studied there as a university student, and this was my very favorite location to stay. It is well managed and the building is secure with a small elevator for luggage. The apartment itself is two flights of stairs up but they are easy stairs. Across the street is a sufficient grocery and good gelato. Below is a high end seafood restaurant and a good pizza place next to that. If you are considering this apartment, book it- you will be so pleased!

Beautiful property in an ideal location

Loved the property. The view was phenomenal. The full wall of windows towards the river and bridge were awesome and increased the feeling of outdoor / indoor living. We spent all of our time exploring the city so didn't spend much time in the unit but it was beautiful, open, airy, and clean. Unit location is ideal base for exploring. We walked nearly every where we wanted to go. Only negative is the owner insisted upon entering the property the second day we were there even though we asked him/her not to. Stated that there was some repair or another they had to do. We didn't appreciate the intrusion and didn't see a repair that was completed upon their departure. We had to pay some sort of tax upon check-in via credit card - they said it wasn't part of the VRBO payment we already made. While it wasn't very much, it was odd. Even with these inconveniences, the unit was beautiful and well worth it. Hand soup dispensers don't work in any of the bathrooms.

Perfect location with an amazing view!

We loved our time in Firenze and certainly appreciated the extraordinary location of this property. The views over the Arno were breathtaking and the ease with which we could walk to so many parts of this beautiful city made the location perfect for our family. Situated across from the Uffizi, 10 minute walk to the Duomo and not much further to the Accademia, 20 minute walk to Santa Maria Novella and close to so many wonderful restaurants, cafes, etc. Beds were super comfortable, the apartment was immaculately clean. Only suggestions would be to update the living room furnishings (rug and pillows were tired) and to add a few details like a coffee machine and hooks for towels in the bathrooms. Otherwise, perfect! We would definitely return!
