We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect in proximity to the things we were interested in. We were only a short distance away from NAU and could visit easily. We were equally close to the downtown/old town area of Flagstaff. And, a comfortable drive away from any number of hiking trails. We prepared Thanksgiving dinner easily as the kitchen and the rest of the property were well-appointed. Everything was as described by the property manager and VRBO description. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. In short, I highly recommend this property. We had a great time. ##### Ron T. Also, there was no extra garbage bags underneath the sink, so we had to make do with the ONE bag that was in the garbage container, and we had to use grocery bags to contain the rest of the garbage. Other than that, the house was cute, quaint, convenient and clean. We also liked the neighborhood. ##### Maria V. Extra trashbags, detergents, cleaning supplies, paper supplies. Even had toiletries you could use if needed. . The house is in a wonderful location for day trips. Grand canyon, williams, sedona. The host was super easy to reach & was very accommodating with some of our requests. There was a small issue & he responded very quickly & handled the situation. Séjour de 2 nuits en mars 2023 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Tatum H. 10 janv. 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Location for sledding was great, but deceiving pictures and not very clean I am not one to usually leave negative reviews, but I was very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness with this house. When we showed up at 430 for check in, which was at 4, the "cleaners" were still there. They "finished up" around 445pm and we went in. We rented the Fri/Sat/Sun after the new years weekend, and I'm guessing there was some sort of New Years party the weekend before and the people stayed a few days after. There were little glitter pieces everywhere and the most disturbing thing was that I don't know if the sheets on the bed were washed. I found a long black hair in one of the sheets and none of us in our group have anything close to black hair. Also, there were no less than 8 bags of trash on the side of the house, prior to us. House looks much bigger in the pictures. They definitely used a wide angle lens. Couch was comfortable and TV worked fine. Kitchen is MUCH tighter than it looked in the pictures. We had 3 families, and it was definitely tight to make food. Bedrooms were fine and beds were comfortable, minus the black hair. The house location was great, being near a sledding hill, so that was a big perk. And the manager did grant us a late check out on Sunday which was helpful so the kids got a little more sledding in Sun morning. Overall the house was okay, but we won't be staying here again. ##### Tatum H. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. The AC worked perfectly! There was good communication from the owner as well assuring that we had what we needed. Of note the driveway is a bit steep and while there is a spacious garage for visitors to use there is no garage door opener which would have been very handy. Overall a great stay was had by all! ##### Cynthia J. Easy check in & check out process. Beds were comfy and all furniture was in good condition! Plenty of seating for our group of 6 adults. The outdoor area was a perfect extra space to enjoy, with a clean, well-working grill and gas fireplace. The quiet neighborhood made our outdoor time very enjoyable. The owner was communicative and friendly, and provided an extensive booklet of information. Minor inconveniences included multiple burned out light bulbs, no can opener, no extra paper towels or saran/foil/ziplock bags. Also, a cooler would've been useful, as we flew to the area during summer and were unable to bring our own. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend! ##### Jodi B.
