About this property
Secluded Mountain Home in the Pines
Welcome to our gorgeous cabin in the pines! The house sleeps 13 people. 10 spots in fully made beds, and 3 additional couch-beds. The 3 additional foam couch-beds add comfortable sleeping for 3 people, and even more can fit on these foam beds if they are children. The foam couch-beds do not require sheets and therefore will not be dressed in bedding sheets. There are plenty of spare blankets and pillows for anyone who chooses these couch-beds as a sleeping option. The foam you-beds are shown in the loft photos, they are low to the ground, and fold out to accommodate cozy sleeping, but are folded out mattresses that are on the floor (check photos!). These are incredibly cozy and fun beds, but may be found difficult for any older folks or grown-ups with ailments, simply because it is low to the floor, it may be hard for them to get in and out of bed because they are considered floor beds when full opened for sleeping. -Please send an inquiry if these beds are of concern to you and I'll get back to you with further photos and information.
There is plenty of extra lounging & sleeping areas if you include the large living room couch and the cozy foam couch-beds.
The home is fully surrounded by wood decking. Fully stocked kitchen. 4 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. In-ground trampoline, yard area with turf, bbq, firepit, small seasonal pond, on-site hills for snow sledding, 10 acres of land.

Lots of bird watching, deer are always on property and gorgeous sunflowers aplenty in the summer!
*BBQ is available and propane tanks are provided but propane gas is not guaranteed. If there is propane, you may use it. If you need more propane, guest is responsible for filling the tank.
Plenty of room for parking all of your toys and vehicles. 10 acres of private land to roam. There is a small creek 5 minutes walk from the back deck.
No parties allowed. Families and friend groups are allowed small events or dinners after getting approval from the owner.

This is a yes! Absolutely choose this one! Two masters, huge living and dining area, wrap around porch, amazing views, feels secluded but only 6 mins from Flag! We had a large party and everyone was comfortable.
We had such a great time. It rained a couple of days we were there but that didn’t stop any of the kids from riding on the track, or jumping on the trampoline. Everyone had such a blast. We had 6 adults and 6 kids with ages ranging from 7-16 years old. Wasn’t too far to go into town and still plenty right by the cabin if needed something quick. Amazing communication from the owner and had no issues while we were there. We would love to stay again!
Our entire family really enjoyed our stay here! There were 6 of us, and PLENTY of sleeping options. The kids really enjoyed the trampoline and exploring the grounds. The stars at night are incredible. We laid out on the trampoline and soaked it all in. Property is in a great location, just a quick drive into Flagstaff for anything we needed! Stacey was a phenomenal host, and I would definitely stay here again!
We had such a great time at this house. The house has everything you need and it’s so close to flagstaff. We had a wonderful stay with two families. The property is clean and awesome! Thanks so much for hosting us!
This is a great place in the pines with plenty of room for everyone, even the furry friends. The best thing about this property, though, was the owner. They resolved an issue for us asap and were super responsive and nice about it.
We loved our time here! 7 adults and 3 kids under 4 and it was the perfect set up for us. The wrap around porch and plentiful seating options were our favorite. Great kitchen set up with all we needed. Added bonuses were dark out curtains, sound machine, plentiful towels. We brought dirt bikes and a side by side. Not much space for the side by side, though fun little tracks for the dirt bikes. Would stay again!
We have been to Flagstaff and Sedona more than 10 times and this is by far one of the best properties. The views from everywhere in the home are spectactular. The location makes getting to Flag,Sedona, and the Grand Canyon very easy but yet you also feel secluded when you are home. The beds were very comfortable and the master bath was wonderful after a long day of being out hiking. The host was also wonderful.
The house was beautiful and perfect for our family as we flew in town to celebrate our daughter getting married. My 2 college kids loved the trampoline. It was great for Star gazing, not just jumping! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We loved having the privacy of being on acreage but there was road noise from 17. I have always loved the red barn as you drove up the highway and even took pictures of it years ago never knowing we would actually get to stay on the property! Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the House on the Hill. Stacey is a wonderful host and was available if we needed anything. The house is roomy with a fully stocked kitchen and great gathering spaces for a big family. We went in July so we loved spending time on the generous decks that wrapped around the house. There are lots of tables and seating on every side, so there was always a sunny spot for coffee in the morning, and a cool shady spot for later in the day. The highway is nearby so there is some background hum but it didn't take away from the experience. It felt very private and we couldn't get enough of the beautiful view of the trees and meadow from the back deck.
Beautiful property away from neighbors. Check in process easy. Stacey was very responsive in all communication. Home was large enough with extra space for our group of 8. There was a trampoline in the back and some sleds and scooters out little ones enjoyed. There is also a BBQ gril and fire pit where we enjoyed some smores after tubing at the snow park. Rooms were spacious. Kitchen had everything needed to cook up a feast. Condiments and spices and some snacks were also available. There is a gas station and subway in very close proximity but downtown access to other areas very close no more than a 10 minute drive. Visited Meteor Crater site which took about 30 mins also close to Grand Canyon and Sedona. No soap and shampoo in bathrooms so don’t forget to pack those. Not a dealbreaker because of the easy access to purchase your own products. Family enjoyed stay and recommend for your next stay. It will not disappoint. Will be staying in future. Thanks Stacey!

Our group had a great experience. The property is located in a private and secluded area, while being very accessible from the main road and close to everything that Flagstaff has to offer. The kids loved the trampoline, and the house had all the amenities and extras that we needed to relax, cook and enjoy our stay.
The house was everything we wanted. The kids got to explore and play on the trampoline. It was close to things we wanted to do. We felt close enough and yet also far enough to get the nature feel. Highly recommend! Would stay again.
Me and my spouse held a very small wedding event and it was eonderful. The property is beautiful with tons of space and the host was very helpful and responsive to any questions or asks.
Loved this property and cant wait to come back. Everyone in our family enjoyed this beautiful home. We appreciated all the extra stock of items. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had plenty of space inside and outside. Thank you
Property was wonderful with a beautiful A-Frame window, wrap around porch, and fun trampoline. There were three of us, so it was nice that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Close to I-17, which was convenient for us, as we were at a horseshow during the day and a wedding at night. The only updates I would recommend would be the flooring in bedrooms.
Large home great for a family! Lots of space for kids to run and play; close to Flagstaff. The interior is spacious, nice, beds were very comfortable. Upstairs is a huge suite. Kitchen could use an update on cookware and utensils. While home and land are great, it is located right next to freeway and traffic is heard. Also seems to be in flight path for airport. When inside, the noise is not heard, very good windows.
We enjoyed the property very much! The bathrooms should have been cleaner, same for the kitchen & dining room as well as organizing the glasses and cups so they could be returned to the same place. Two rooms had no top sheets These things should have been as best as could be. I would stay again but would look for something more prepared for guests.
