The shared restrooms and showers were surprisingly clean, and the gorgeous lake offered a stunning view, complete with an eagle sighting. The area is wonderfully quiet and felt very safe.The cabin includes a microwave and fridge (though the fridge froze my food, so beware!). Just remember the beds are quite hard, so a mattress pad is a good idea. Since it's remote, bring all your essentials. Last thing is if you come for the wifi, don't. It was broken in our cabin. Also, I have T-mobile and got fairly good service there. My friend had Verizon and it wasn't as good but still okay. We swam in the lake, fed goats, pet horses, bird watched, hiked, and drank wine at the near by winery. Everything was in good working order and the layout was very functional for 1 adult and 1 kid. Could be a little tight with 3 or 4\. Got down to 28 degrees last night, but heater worked great. Bath house was spotless and just a short walk from the cabin. Only issue is the walls are super thin. Out second night a family got there late and decided to BBQ right outside, we could hear every word of their normal volume conversation (luckily they went to bed by 10:30), but it could have been a big problem of they had been roudy or up late. This property was great for the off-season and might be even better in the warmer months with the lake activities. ##### J L.
