I’ll start by saying I have stayed in a lot of “budget” motels throughout the US, Mexico, Central America, and SE Asia. I am by no means a snob. Considering the cleanliness and condition of the room, I wouldn’t pay more than $50 Even then, I might prefer sleeping in my car. 150 dollars is absolutely insane. Booked through Expedia and when I tried to check in the clerk let me know he wasn’t happy about booking through third party because they take a percentage. He couldn’t get his cc reader to work so after about 10 minutes of that I paid cash. He “upgraded” my room for the inconvenience. The bedding was noticeably stained so I chose to sleep on top. Thank goodness I had my own sleeping bag and a pillow with me. The floor and base boards had what appears to be black mold. The bathtub was so soft I thought I might fall through the ceiling into the restaurant below. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, but the house next door has dogs that barked non stop throughout the night, luckily the trains going by drowned that out occasionally. Overall bad experience and waste of money. Positives: full sized fridge and there’s microwave. Air conditioner worked. I checked in too late but there is a Thai restaurant on the property. Parking is free and convenient. Aside from the lecture for booking through Expedia, the staff was friendly enough. We both have mobility issues and having to climb in and out from bottom of bed was a pain. Also extra high and hard for ANYONE under 5'4" to sit or get into bed. When main door was closed, it gapped to the outside at the bottom. Thankfully the outside temp was around 50 degrees or it could have been a COLD night. As others have said, this place was run down and the room was dirty.
