« First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems). « We loved our stay here. After a horrible nine hour journey we were pretty miserable when we arrived. However, when we saw the cottage we were delighted! The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. It’s well maintained, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy too. We were delighted to see the goats out the front the next morning and raced out to chat to them 😀 The owners are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. If we can face the journey again we will be back and for longer! »

« Elevated but right on the seafront with a few steps down to the beach. Comfortable property which we loved. There is a garage for the car, but ours was a little big so had to park on the street. Plenty of places to visit nearby. We had a takeaway on night and they deliver to the back door. Loved our stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. »

« A lovely spot for a few days away to relax and unwind. The property was clean and well-maintained and was a lovely base to explore beautiful Northumberland. The only downside was the noise from the adjacent busy road but it it did quieten down late evening. Would stay again »

« The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels. »

« This property is wonderful for a quiet getaway, it’s beautifully decorated with lots of interesting things to discover and the kitchen is so well equipped, we could have easily hosted a 12 person dinner party! « Lovely house, everything you needed was there. Great base for exploring the area. There was work being done on a new station but it didn’t influence our sleep or anything. Son was very excited about the trains passing by. Beach a short drive away or a walk. Great chip shop/ cafe and shop at the beachfront nearby. Host very helpful, we would recommend to friends. Beautiful decor, plenty of space and great for a family stay. »
