All communication with him was fast and easy. My friends only had one complaint and that was the not terribly comfortable double mattress placed on a queen frame. We are an older couple, and fortunately quite fit as we were not aware of the very treacherous stairs leading to the bedrooms, and getting down to the bathroom at nights safely was a challenge. I think it would be important to state that the bathroom and bedrooms are on separate floors. Also, the microwave was located dangerously high - even for my tall partner. Definitely needs to be moved. The housekeeping was adequate but could have been a little cleaner. the yard was a mess. Also, I would not advertise a firepit that doesn't exist, or at least not in any usable, safe form unless you want the house burnt down. There are no screens on the windows except for a small one in the front door and two tiny ones in the bedroom windows. I think it would be uninhabitable in the warm weather unless the downstairs windows are screened or it was air-conditioned. We were grateful that it was cool when we were there. We would probably rent again in cool/cold weather as we loved the relaxed ambience and the owner was delightful and very helpful. We had a wonderful time. ##### Davilyn E.
