There was an additional charge at the site on top of what I already paid on hotels.com, they told me it was to cover taxes, when I had already paid the taxes charges

A quiet and tranquil place for vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped. Heater works well. An ideal place to stay if you are going to Yosemite National Park.

Briceburg Information Center is just one of the places to see in Briceburg, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels?
The River View restaurant at the lodge is absolutely terrible, very expensive and food is disgusting, but it is the only option for quite some distance in either direction. You're better off driving to Yosemite Village for Degnan's than eating there.
