The apartment:  
  
This gorgeous and luxurious apartment offers spacious rooms and is suited for family holiday letting. It is set in an up-market area, overlooking a delightful, shared landscaped garden. The apartment is situated in a peaceful cul du sac, with off-road parking. The apartment is quietly located in a highly sought after area, with easy access to the city centre and excellent amenities close at hand.  
  
The immaculate property has three pristine double bedrooms, which provides comfortable accommodating for six guests. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room (also with a toilet, basin, and heated towel rack), the second bathroom is a family bathroom with a bath/shower, toilet, basin, and heated towel rack. In addition to the master bedroom, there are a further two double bedrooms. All bed linen and towels are provided.  
  
The large modern kitchen is fully fitted with a washing machine, dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, and microwave. The kitchen also has a kitchen table which can accommodate 4 people.  
  
There is a separate dining room with a table and six chairs, a separate sitting room with ample space, and a sun room, which all overlook varying aspects of the garden.  
  
There is video entry phone in the entrance hall. Central heating provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Drying racks for clothes, an ironing board and an iron are available in the apartment. You can relax and recharge your batteries after enjoying a day exploring. A comprehensive range of visitor attractions in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas will keep guests spoilt for choice. You will be able to enjoy the attractions, while using the peaceful apartment as a base to explore from and come home to rest in.

Scotland has a rich and exciting history. The region has so much to offer, from culture, history, beautiful landscapes, outdoor activities, to its myths and legends. There are numerous festivals held in Edinburgh, and the surrounding areas, throughout the year. It is a wonderful holiday destination with so much to explore and do.  
  
Edinburgh itself is packed with historical sites, museums, art galleries, wonderful festivals and events, good eating and a huge variety of shops. Children and families will also love Edinburgh with all the fun activities, including the Edinburgh Zoo, Ocean Terminal - explore the Royal Yacht Britannia, have a fun walk and tea at the Royal Botanical Gardens, experience hands-on activities at the National Museum of Scotland, get "eye-boggled" at Camera Obscura and World Illusion, get shaken at Our Dynamic Earth, participate in the Science festival, walks along the beach front or canal.  
  
Don't miss the Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse, interesting shops and museums along The Royal Mile, fun bus tours of the city, or discover the secrets of the underground streets in Edinburgh (if you are feeling brave!).  
  
Edinburgh also caters for sporting enthusiasts, with walking and cycling paths in the city, numerous golf courses, tennis and sport facilities scattered throughout Edinburgh, ski slopes and great hiking country not far from the city.

The Cramond - Barnton area:  
  
In the immediate area around the apartment, you can enjoy Cramond Beach or stroll along the River Almond. There is a lovely wide walking / cycling path running next to the beach that heads in the direction of Ocean Terminal. Explore Cramond Island (but watch out for the tide), or nearby Lauriston Castle. For golfing enthusiasts, there are two golf courses in the Barnton area.  
  
Further afield:  
  
Not only are you spoilt for choice in Edinburgh city, but further afield there are also tons of things to see and do. There are excellent sites and activities for all the family, from young to old.  
  
Hopetoun House, before the Queensferry bridge is a wonderful place to walk in the gardens, explore the house and top it all off with a lovely tea or lunch. They also hold various events throughout the year including the summer fair, the Christmas fair and lots of fun activities for children.  
  
There is the famous Roslyn Chapel (mentioned in Dan Brown's book on the Da Vinci Code), with its interesting marks and centre healing spot.  
  
Cragie's Farm is a fun spot for families - pick strawberries and raspberries, do the nature trail, and enjoy some lovely eats.  
  
You are not far from the Scottish Borders area in the south, and heading north you soon reach the Scottish Highlands. If you have a car and want to go further afield there is so much to see in these areas as well. However, Edinburgh itself will probably be enough to keep you busy!

The apartment was sparkling clean, the self check-in was very easy! The location is convenient to the Airport, about a 15 min drive and about 20-25 into Edinburgh. We had a really nice stay at this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space to make us feel at home. The surrounding area was quiet so we could relax. The apartment was not too far away from the main roads, which made it easier to go site seeing without getting hopelessly lost. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere cozy while on vacation.

Was the perfect place for our 3 week Edinburgh visit. Close enough to be able to ride the bus or take a Uber or taxi to the tourist areas but, beautiful and calm location away from the noise and bustle of the height of tourist season. Good location to get to other sites such as the Scottish Open, and treks to Glasgow and Inverness. This condo is so very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we could want to use to cook a meal. The neighbors were friendly. And the walks nearby to Cramond village, Cramond beach, Lauriston Palace, Barnton Junction, etc. were really enjoyable. I have never seen someone so very well organized! Julia's house manual provides all one needs for understanding the condo appliances as well as tips for things to do in the area. Thank you for being a wonderful host, Julia!

#### Hogmanay in Edinburgh

Hogmanay wurde leider abgesagt, aber unsere Woche in Cramond war trotzdem herrlich. Von der Wohnung kann man herrliche Wanderungen an der Küste entlang nach Queensferry, Lauriston Castle…. unternehmen. Die Wohnung ist fantastisch und super ausgestattet!

#### Exactly as we had hoped

This was a 5-star property. It was a tony but quiet neighborhood even allowed us to rescue a dog in the road. Didn’t have a rental car. Instead relied on the No. 47 and 32 buses with occasional tram and train service. Less than 10-minute flat walk from the home. Bought a two-week bus pass and got our money’s worth (£33). Julia and Fiona were gems, responding to the few calls and emails we sent quickly and courteously. Would stay there again in a hot minute!

#### Mega Unterkunft

Die Wohnung, ist ein Traum. Super sauber, ruhig und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr sehr gut. Zwei kleine Punkte die man bedenken muss, sie liegt weiter draußen und mit dem Bus benötigt man 50 Min. ins Zentrum. Die Kaffeemaschine ist eine Frenshpress der Kaffeeautomat der da steht kann man ohne passende Kapseln nicht nutzen und wir haben keine mehr gefunden für das Gerät.

#### Edinburgh Trip

The rental was clean and neat. It had a great layout and met all our needs. We were there to watch our daughter at the fringe. The bus was a few blocks away from getting into the city. We really enjoyed our stay there, highly recommend it, and will stay there again.

#### Peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home

This is such a lovely property and the host could not have been more responsive or helpful. It was truly a home away from home with some nice features I actually don’t have at my own home like heated towel racks and plenty of windows looking out onto a secluded garden space. I miss the peaceful atmosphere already. I’m so happy to have stayed at a place where you can easily catch the bus or a taxi to the touristy sites but also could enjoy this beautiful little area. There is a trailhead you can pick up near the bus stop that takes you along the river (lots of steps but worth it). There is a great little bistro on the water and a lovely beach to explore nearby. This is a wonderful place to stay and I would not hesitate to return if I have the chance.

#### Peaceful base

We are fortunate to stay for a week in this nice apartment. Really nice kitchen with all the amenities and plenty of space as we were traveling with three children. It was a little out-of-the-way, but for us that was perfect as As it was a nice quiet spot to end the day. The host was very responsive, and I would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The area is quiet, and we slept very well. #### Wunderschön und ideal für Edinburgh

Diese Wohnung hält alles was sie verspricht. Sie ist sehr schön, geräumig und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Lage ist topp. Es ist eine gute Wohngegend, Meer und Grün gleich um die Ecke. Mit den 47 Bus kommt man bequem in die Innenstadt. Der Supermarkt ist in 5 min mit dem Auto erreichbar oder in 10 min mit dem Bus. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
