Great base for getting out and about, almost everything worked flawlessly and everyone slept well.Communication with owner was perfect.The showers in both bathrooms would benefit from a deep clean on the grout. The heating/water did ‘go out’ on the final night, but we figured out how to reset the boiler in the morning and heat/water soon returned.The owner did explain that the apartment below had a drainage issue and this could be smelled in the laundry room. The toilet in the master bathroom, as others have pointed out was a bit high (meant for disabled people apparently) but we made it work. To be honest, this place was over priced I’ve stayed in better places that were cheaper and yes, that was when the Fringe was on too.There were cracks in the en-suite floor tiles, that was probably from people falling off the excessively high toilet. I can only guess that the original owner was a basketball player?There were other niggles but I guess the one that got to me the most was the lack of pillow protectors under the pillow cases, my partner is a stickler for checking these things, we could see the dribbles of previous tenants on the pillow if we looked.
