The walk to the beach took less than 2 minutes and the scenery was beautiful! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. They only downfall was as Americans we didn’t understand the electric switches and the immersion heater which the host was quick in replying on how to work it! Für uns Schweizer war dies eine sehr gemütliche, kleine, aber gut eingerichtete vermutlich typisches schottisches Bungalow auf dem Lande. Die Einrichtung war sehr persönlich und praktisch. Die Heizdecke auf den Betten diente denen, welche eher frieren. Andere haben sehr gut in den Betten geschlafen. Das Städtchen Dunbar war über den Strandweg in 30 Minuten erreichbar. Das gastronomische Angebot war leider in kurzer Fussdistanz nicht vorhanden. Jedoch konnte man sich in der in 5 Minuten erreichbaren lokalen Brauerei mit ausgezeichnetem schottischen Bier eindecken. Der übliche Einheitsgeschmack der Lagerbiere war glücklicherweise nicht vorhanden. It was pure perfection from start to finish. The beach felt like our own little slice of heaven—peaceful, pristine, and beautifully tucked away from the busier tourist spots.Whether we were walking along the shore, enjoying the sea breeze, or just soaking in the view, everything about this place invited us to slow down and savor the moment. It’s one of those rare spots that makes you feel completely at ease—and completely spoiled.Thank you, Dunbar, for sharing this gem. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Scotland. ##### Donna M. The chalet was perfect for us. Beautiful views over Belhaven Bay, ideal location for dog walking and very handy for Dunbar town.
