« The whole property is gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. It was very clean and comfortable from the welcoming gifts in EVERY room to the kitchen loaded with what ever utensil you could possibly need. The close proximity of a store and the ample places to put things. Every night there was a movie in the theatre with popcorn. The billiards room with space to play and the parlor for quiet talks. We could not have been more pleased. »

« This estate was a perfect family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. The host gave important information in a timely manner and the housekeeper answered questions quickly and precisely. The place is kept up and nestled in a beautiful location. Three of the family members played golf one night. Two family members enjoyed runs and the rest explored hiking. « Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. Good location close to Paintsville Lake State Park and Jenny Wiley State Park. 5 min drive to Dollar General and approx. 15min drive to Walmart. »
